"Quite frankly I think my dog would have lived longer if I hadn’t taken her to this place die her to be bothered with shots she didn’t need. While my dog was dying in my arms I asked for help. They said they would as long as I changed my review. Soooooooooooooo. Yeah. To each their own."
"I have no choice after a week of asking for a professional reply to my resolve for a horrible haircut to leave a negative review and inform potential and current clients the unprofessionalism of the manager and staff at this facility. I specifically instructed the groomer NOT to shave the dog. she did and blamed "mats" i have been an owner for over 39 years and know their are de-mat techniques and treatments from spas i would take my former pets. My rare merle color fur pet was not extremely matted. I did not want her gorgeous hair shaved off esp in winter. To top it off the face wasnt even groomed and left long as now the puppy looked like a skinny rat with furry long face hair. Absurd. I emailed on january 5th. Specifically asking for a documented email reply resolve. I got a voicemail with a manager "diane" who sounded as if it was a comical matter not taking my request serious . Poor customer serice, poor professionalism , i hope the owner or whomever is truly incharge contacts me now in email as i want a resolution for they know specifically whom i am. This is absurd. Still to this day a week later requesting a documented email for resolve i never received anything. Also to note i was asked to drop off pet 9am appt. Pickup was 230pm ! 5 and a half hours ??? For a cut ? Noway ! So my pet was caged and waiting ??? Absurd. Take this serious pet owners this isnt the place for you. Seek elsewhere. Be advised. I expect an email reply resolve . Extremely unprofessional ."
"Thank you so much to Sophia and Dr. She bell for treating Mittens and Louie so well. They felt so safe in your care!!"
"If I could give the Manetto Hill Animal Hospital a 6/5, I would do it! I had a VERY BIG problem... a 90lb German Shepherd named Max who did not want his nails trimmed or his ears cleaned. I had it done by having his previous vet sedate him. Unfortunately, the last time I went to the previous vet (not Manetto Hill), the ear problem was not corrected and Max's pain and discomfort remained. It needed to be fixed, but I soon found out it was not easy to find a vet who would sedate a dog for a "pedicure". I tried several and to be honest, they just didn't understand my dilemma. I happened to have been at a doctor's office at 100 Manetto Hill Rd. (Dr. Britto if you ever need an outstanding podiatrist by the way!) when I heard barking next door. So after my appointment I walked over to the office, explained my problem to the front desk staff, and they said, "No problem!" They told me Max could be put into a "twilight" sleep (not fully awake, not fully under) which sounded wonderful to me. They scheduled me for the following day :) So you know, Max can be very aggressive with other dogs and even some people. If he wasn't so handsome and loving he would have been on his way back to the rescue folks in So. Carolina! But he is and he's not. When I brought him in, Dr. Weiss and his assistant, Cathy, took the time to take a case history and get to know Maxy-boy. After 5 minutes Max was so comfortable with them, he just laid down on the floor. After the consult, Cathy was able to take the leash and walk Mr. Max out without me! I have never been able to do this before. I knew then I was in the right office! Dr. Weiss explained all procedures that would be done and even gave me an estimate which I really appreciated! Two hours later Maxy was trimmed and cleaned, I picked him up and we've been happy ever since. So speaking as a fellow doctor, if you are looking for a professional and caring veterinarian, whose office is top notch and has great front desk staff as well (Did I forget to mention them? They were wonderful!!) then you MUST call Manetto Hill Animal Hospital and make an appointment. And it's nice to know that Dr. Weiss is a local Syosset High School graduate! Don't wait, call today!!!"
