"I applied for a glass division job and I selected Do not Contact for my current employer. They then went and contacted my current employer. I interviewed with them before I knew this and despite being offered a job, I turned it down. I could easily tell what the politics of the interviewer were with many insinuating comments including derogatory comments on an area of a state I have loved ones in."
"Drivers are more worried about holding their phones rather than the steering wheel"
"My dispatchers were great. They had a terrible night dispatcher, earl, when I was there who forced me to do a 8/2 split on my fist night out after training. Pay was terrible to be honest, I was at .38 when I was there. New hires when my friends left were making more than the people who had put in years with them, so I can tell that the higher ups don't care about driver retention. The shop there would consistently reset check engine lights and tell you that you're good until you have the fun flashing lights and lose money to go back to them. Or the time I told them where a leak was and I was told I was wrong, that it would be fixed, got back out and had to turn back around to get it fixed again. All in all, I can't recommend. Hopefully the dispatch is still treating drivers as good as I was when I started. Not that one on night shift tho. I hope he steps on a Lego barefoot."
"I was attracted by their "6 years of best fleets to drive for" ranking. I was never offered a sign on bonus although they advertise one. The truck I got was a 5 year old International with 500,000 miles plus. No mattress. No apu. No inverter. After asking about those things I did get an inverter and a mattress after about a month. No clear instruction on how their Per diem benefit was tracked and after repeated phone calls I was paid part of what was owed. Disappointed and dissatisfied with my entire experience. Their pay per mile is on the top end, however the miles on the account I was on were not enough most weeks to make their minimum pay. After many conversations about not enough miles I was forced to find work elsewhere. Not recommended."
"Teach your drivers how to drive on the road. I just saved my life from this driver. He was driving very rash and suddenly changes lanes without any blinker. Please take an appropriate action for this driver."
