"If you are looking for a math tutor for your kids, I recommend you stay away from Mathnasium in Henrietta New York. We paid $3,611 for two children to receive math lessons for 6 months. The tutoring is simply handing the kids a workbook and telling them to ask questions if they get stuck on a problem. There is no real teaching here. To make matters worse, their cancellation policy is predatory. In our case, we had to pay $573 to cancel the service, due to their 45 day cancellation policy. Of course, a cancellation policy with a fee makes sense when you are a business that is holding appointments for someone who will no longer be attending. However, in this case, there is no appointment held (you are not taking away from another student from attending). The cancellation policy is simply a money grab."

"Mathnesium is a creative, fun concept for helping kids learn math and also love doing it. My kids love attending their sessions and find it very helpful! They compete with each other on how many worksheets they completed. The staff is very friendly and professional. I recommend this place to everyone!"
