"I came in to order jerk chicken for takeout to bring to my wife at work. She said the chicken was bland and the sauce lacked the necessary spice needed to elevate it. Plus, it was sweet. There was no char on the chicken. My wife is originally from Jamaica and knows more than a thing or two about authentic Jamaican cuisine, which this surely was not."
"I ordered jerk chicken for lunch. The jerk chicken was delicious and just the right amount of spice. The peas and rice were delicious as well. The fried plantains were fried well enough that they melt in your mouth. The cabbage medley was alright. My overall rating 9.5/10"
"AMAZING JAMAICAN FOOD… the brown stew chicken …chefs kiss.. the oxtail is also great.. I can eat the rice & beans by itself.. at the most it may take 5 minutes (10 in the summer) to get my food.."
"We ordered the curry chicken and jerk pork. After getting home and opening the containers we noticed the jerk pork was mainly all fat with very very little pork. The flavor was outstanding however there wasn’t much to enjoy. The curry chicken was okay but lacked in flavor. Portion sizes of rice and beans was plenty big enough. Both plates also had cabbage and plantains. I did call the restaurant after seeing the jerk pork and I was hung up on. I recommend checking your plate prior to leaving this establishment. We will not be returning."
"Imported drinks were very interesting and authentic. Try a few to find what suits your pallet. The jerk chicken was juicy and fall off the bone goodness with a fabulous sauce the mixed well with the rice and beans. The mixed vegetables were also quite good with a slightly sweet taste. Jerk pork was a dry spice rub, and a little dry though tender. The curry goat was surprisingly good, though a bit too many bones in the meat. It was slow cooked and tender, just a lot of picking out. All three had a fair amount of spiciness, and portions were generous."
