"Feeling down today, I’ve come to realize that I can no longer support a local charity that is not American and is anti-constitution. A new sign has made it clear that they have a policy that may not align with our country’s values and constitution. I’ve been open carrying for years without any problems, so I kindly tried to clarify the official policy with the manager before making any public posts. Unfortunately, they refused to discuss it, which is disappointing because I genuinely enjoyed the place and never expected it to become political. I want to emphasize that they have every right to express their policies as it is their place, but I still plan to reach out to the corporation and share my experience with my pro-2nd amendment groups. I won’t be supporting them anymore."
"I had the best customer service from their team yesterday. I needed a walker for a family member and they were quick to assist me. They were all so friendly. Thank you for your help. :)"
"Perfectly fine store but most items are overpriced. They sell matching sets separately with each item as more expensive than expected"
"Prices are absolutely ridiculously high for mediocre or badly damaged items. This is outrageous. You are THRIFT a store, maybe they need a reminder this is a thrift store. A 1990s bedside table that really needed to be trashed and they were asking $35.00. A chipped plate was $8.00. Don’t bother saying anything to staff because their rude response is “This is a charity.” I understand, but you are not helping yourself."
"The wife and I love hitting up thrift stores in the area to see what we can find. It's always like a treasure hunt. I bring this up to highlight the point that we've been to this store off and on for quite some time now. We've noticed recently that prices have started to skyrocket to what you'd see at antique stores. This was very evident today when my wife was there and saw a piece of framed art that had been in the window for weeks. She had been on the fence before but decided to go ahead and get it this time as it actually had a reasonable price of 6 bucks. She went to check out and the person ringing her up makes a snarky comment about how 6 bucks wasn't high enough and she needed to check with her manager. 5 minutes later after just leaving my wife at the register, she comes back without the item and says the manager agreed 6 bucks wasn't enough. No mention of what price they were going to change it to, and even mentioned it wasn't their price tag. I'm assuming they were accusing my wife of putting a fake price on the item. She didn't even bother asking what they wanted for it now and just left. Come-on guys, you get free junk to sell in order to try and build homes for people in need. Are you raising prices to get more money to build more houses or have you found a way to pocket some of it? This greediness isn't going to work well in the long run. At any rate, we're done giving these stores a chance. It isn't just this one being run like this, all of them in the Charlotte area are. Rock Hill just so happened to be the last straw."
