"NYOH in Amsterdam is where I chose to have my cancer treated. I have never seen such a caring and efficient staff. From the office secretaries, to the chemotherapy department, and the nurses, their expertise and friendly care was exceptional. Dr. De Jesus was my Radiation Oncologist during my bout with tongue cancer. As if the cancer wasn't bad enough along with needing radiation to the mouth, the fear and anxiety of the unknow was just as worrisome. Dr. De Jesus immediately took the fear and anxiety away by spending the time explaining exactly what I was about to go through and what to expect. She put me and my family at ease so that I could concentrate on healing and getting thorough it. As busy as she always is, her and her staff always took the time for me! She is an excellent Doctor in so many ways and one fine caring person. I highly recommend the staff at NYOH and I give Dr. De Jesus my upmost respect and recommendation."

"Staff is great doctor so so , getting there is a joke as the streets in down town Amsterdam are always under construction. Takes them weeks to get back to you with lab results only after repeatedly calling them even then not a Doctor but only a staff member called back with results that they can't interpret. Have since moved on to another Hematologist who is much more thorough and communicative wondering why certain tests were not performed to get to the bottom of why I had a Saddle Pulmonary Embolism that nearly killed me 6 months ago."
