Homewood Suites by Hilton Buffalo - Airport

"Stayed recently for Bills playoff game weekend. -Front desk staff were great. Three younger people (2 male, 1 female during our stay) were very helpful with various things. The manager in charge made things more difficult, had a poor attitude and shouldn't be in charge of anything. Would consider not returning based on her. -Breakfast was great and plentiful. -Construction is currently going on at the hotel and is both loud at times and disrupted the guest experience. As someone who professionally does building and remodels, you're doing more harm then good to the hotel by not simply closing for 4-8 weeks instead of trying to run it at the same time. The experience was mediocre especially for the price during a snow storm/playoff weekend which were rates that were well above Buffalo normal market rates."

"Hotel was decent considering the location, biggest issues were breakfast being at 630 on the weekdays, which is surprising being so close to the airport, and having one of the days of breakfast on the weekend be late due to the employee being late. The worst part is that they Don’t make you aware on the app (as a diamond member) that they are actively remodeling the 3rd floor until 6pm every day and all you hear is power tools and what sounds like a jackhammer. Hotel has potential to be great after the remodel but definitely wouldn’t recommend during their remodel, and suggest calling or notifying customers when they make reservations prior. Definitely considered moving to another hotel but I stuck it out since I am only here for work for a few days."

"Rooms have a very dated interior and carpet has a lot of stains. Stairways are dirty. Kitchen hasn't got a pan and could use more cutlery. Breakfast buffet has only single use paper plates and plastic cutlery. Pool is often out of towels. Gym could use a more regular cleaning and top up of the water dispenser. A bench press is missing. Quite loud with planes taking off directly over the hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay here! The pool is amazing, and the service is excellent and lovely! We forgot our son's backpack, and Rosie went the extra mile to help us get it back. We are so grateful!"

"A very convenient location, with very nice and comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We didn't have to suffer sitting on the bed or jockey for the single chair, as we enjoyed the ability to relax on a couch or arm chair after our busy day. The room had both in addition to a large double ottoman and an office chair at the desk. The small kitchenette and dining table was utilized one night, and was another welcomed break from the normal travel routine. The only let down has become the breakfast experience. The quality of the hot food is becoming sub-par. The scrambled eggs are yellow but taste nothing like eggs. The sausage links are tasteless sticks without moisture. The omelets have yellow oily plastic folded in the layers. The last straw was the prepackaged donut, which was a frosty lump of what tasted like uncooked dough and truly uneatable. We found enough from the fresh fruit, waffles, potatoes, cereal, and bread to satiate our needs, and the requisite coffee and other beverages were very good."
