"They over medicated me. I asked them wondering why, then they dropped me as a patient. My primary Dr told me what would happen if theyre medically involved or just pushing alot of patients $$$. Since they told me how I felt and never asked any important questions, i knew it was the latter, verbatim. Always accepting new patients, providers always leaving, always in a rush. My Dr. directed me here for other patients experiences, so here's mine."

"Extremely horrible wait times, the staff are rude. I have to rebuttle most issues through supervisors by leaving notes and I don't get called till after 10 minutes from the time of my appointment. [Example, left a voicemail 4 days prior to appointment, called at appointment time] They don't answer on fridays nor their voicemail especially for appointments on monday, in hopes that if you needed to reschedule, it becomes impossible. They make their money out of ridiculous charges for rescheduling appointments. I had an issue with them since being referred day one. And I have given them multiple times to remedify the situation considering I take my mental health and treatment very seriously. I explained my concerns and issues with staff multiple times on how I'm uncomfortable seeing the same provider, Not only after paying the charges for rescheduling fees for showing up late due to Medicaid cabs taking their sweet time, but I wasn't seen and was told to reschedule. Later to be called and announced to me that my current psychiatrist Allyson Gay is no longer going to be in the Field December 14th. So my question is, why put someone new in the facility with a doctor who's leaving? Instead of let the people who already seen the doctor continue seeing him and NEWER patients see providers who ARE staying in the field. Also today is 11/30th, I spoke with the supervisor a few days ago, and he told me about being in an appointment with someone named Alex, but apparently I misheard them and it was Alysson again. Like why would I complain about not wanting to see Allyson, not minding wait times to see a new provider and then in the end be put with Allyson again? So as today is 11/30, I called in sick because I havent been feeling well and I did not want any one to get sick because of me. I made the appointment through tele-health or virtual. Just to be called not even an hour before my appointment being told my appointment is cancelled because I needed bloodwork done. The amount of unprofessionalism that arose from this office, the amount of time wasted back and forth, the rebuttles with unprofessional front desk staff who get offended easily when you tell them their work is unprofessional. I could not get a word in to communicate with them. I was called in the middle of an important call which I put on hold and said please call me within 5-10 minutes, and was told if they did not call me back to please call back. I called back within 5-6 minutes after my important call, just to talk to another person who did not bother even looking up my name, just my date of birth, would idle 20 seconds silences between answers and questions and in the end did absolutely nothing in an entire 8 minute call just so I can tell them to please at this point write down a message for a supervisor to call me and they said yep and hung up. this is two employees in the span of a week that mistreat me, Unfortunately with my current mental health and stress levels, I'm not going to bother remembering their names, and I don't want anyone to get in trouble and lose their job and not be able to support themselves or family, but my life is also important, my mental health is important, my family needs me and im important to them. So if you guys mess with my mental health, shame on you!"

"I have been a patient here for years now, and I have been seen by all their doctors even the ones at the old office. And normally I don’t do reviews but I thought this would be beneficial to anyone who is searching for a new doctor and stumble on this! I truly love each one of their doctors but in different ways! I am horrible with names but one doctor he is short brief and very blunt to the point, which I respect and personally appreciate! Right now I have jasmine and let me tell you when you meet her she just gives you motherly love vibes she’s honestly passionate about her work and makes you feel comfortable! Then I think it’s Greg or Gary but I am not sure if he still works there but he is an awesome person seriously will change your views and opinions on what a mental health professional should be, he makes your appointment more feel like chatting with a lifetime long friend! Then there is this female physician that (how to put this) comes off very professional maybe a little too professional but don’t let looks fool you she is a sweet heart and will surprise you! Now don’t get me wrong they have been through a fair amount of secretaries and the two main girls that have been there from day one one who wears fancy earrings and the other one with the gorgeous eyes those are my girls but they have had a few that I just couldn’t stand trying to tell me that I couldn’t do a video visit all to make me drive from Niagara Falls to Williamsville and in my visit my doctor told me different and got my way ! So don’t base your judgment solely on the people in the front that literally just give you an appointment the important thing is the doctor and how your appointment goes! Because even though I didn’t care for a few of the people they hired I have no complaints about any of my monthly appointments! Trust me you will not regret becoming a patient here!"

"I was referred to this practice by ECMC, and when I arrived the doctor refused to see me. The reason I was given (by the receptionist, the doctor never saw me) was that I was expected to show up 20 minutes early to complete documents. The office did not notify me of this, and because of the way I was treated when I arrived, I asked them not to reschedule my appointment and told them I would go elsewhere for care. Two weeks later, I received a bill from the physician at the practice (who cancelled my appointment and never saw me) requesting payment ($75) for a service I never received. I strongly caution anyone seeking psychiatric care against Williamsville Psychiatry unless you have no other option. There are much better practices in Buffalo than this one."

"I had been a patient for many months before unfortunately getting into a car accident. They don't offer telehealth which means if you don't have a car/ride you can't receive care. Nothing was done to assist me in getting care. I lost access to my meds and have not been doing well mentally since. My interactions with one receptionist made me very upset. I kept getting interrupted and the tone she spoke with seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else. They also didn't use my pronouns. This is supposed to be a mental health facility."
