"Very small place but they have beautiful art work"
"Great museum with a wealth of NYC and City Island artifacts. Very nice welcoming staff."
"Very cute place. Our tour guide Cheryl was so lovely! We enjoyed our time exploring this museum and former schoolhouse. As a resident of the Bronx it was a pleasure to see the rich history of this lovely island we've visited so many times."
"The museum is a treasure of nautical history and of City Island's place in that history. SO many neat stories; the two docents working at the time are long term residents and know a lot of the history. Lots of ship models as well as many artifacts from sailmakers, rigging, a nice compass collection, navigation, tools, engines, communications, scuba, art and photography. An hour well spent and I could have spent more time there honestly!"
"Great exhibits, friendly staff. Best 5 bucks I have spent in a long time."
