"really really good authentic plov, the samsa was also really crispy and hearty"
"This place is small, loud, but cozy. The main reason you should go there is food, it is fresh, true Central Asian cusine. The food very very good. Their portions are generous, prices are acceptable. The place also supports the community by collecting sadaqa. The place has a atmosphere of home cafes, quick come in, get full, drink some tea, and go on with your life."
"I ordered Uzbek pulau twice in 1 week and both times the rice was very dry and hard. The meat was barely chewable. I informed brother Abdullah and said he will make sure the rice was cooked but same issue. Brother also overcharged me."
"Thread the path that's least explored. Not being an Uzbeki myself, as we maneuvered through our order, was greeted with Assalamualaikum and placed our orders of Manti, samsa, Plov and shashlik. You know it's authentic when everyone that dines in there is a Khabib-lookalike. Besides that, the food is beyond amazing. The samsa had a really good ratio of beef and beef fat that were juicy, my samsa was dripping with goodness as I take my first bite. The Plov, was one of the best! Unlike the Pakistani pulao or Afghan Plov, I would say this version ranks the highest. The beef again had some fats surrounding the meat which makes every bite enjoyable and not dry. The rice combination with the sweetness of the carrots was perfect, my whole family loved it! The shashlik, ah, I wished we dined in, it was juicy just lightly spiced so that the taste of the meat was not overpowered by the spices, really yummy. The manti juicy succulent meat in a light dumpling like cover, with the right thickness of dough, I gobbled them up in seconds. One small recommendation, for non-Uzbekii patrons, it would be good to have photos or description of the dishes, will help with the ordering. Four words! Great authentic Uzbeki food! Added to my go-to halal Uzbeki restaurant whenever I am in Brooklyn."
