"I value the high-quality PT that Paul Nasri at The Game Plan PT provides - so much so that I've traveled over 1 hour from Long Island and paid out-of-pocket to work with him - and would continue to do so. I’ve had physical challenges involving my low back and neck from strength training and car accidents with lingering discomfort and limitations in my ability to exercise. I’ve worked with many good PTs and am an OT myself. Paul has reliably been there for me over the years and helped quickly calm down any pain flare-ups I experienced while putting my mind at ease. He’s established separate home exercise progressions for both my low back and neck that I continue to practice today. I think Paul is exceptionally skillful at listening intently to my concerns and performing all examinations and techniques with care, sensitivity, and clearly explained reasoning. He’s up to date on the latest evidence-based practice and it’s obvious he loves what he does and is doing it for all the right reasons. I think he’s a special talent in the profession and am grateful that I can call on him for support when physical pain and injury arises."
"Came to Paul after he was recommended to me by a fellow PT. I was experiencing hip and knee pain following injury after marathon training. Paul gave me a full running analysis and we spoke about a strategy to both run pain free and to train for a new upcoming race. Paul gave specific exercises to address my particular difficulties and explained all the Biomechanics of how my body would benefit from these exercises. I’m very happy with the results. Unfortunately, he is out of network with insurance so I will have to save up for a future visit!"
"I came to The Game Plan because I was having pain in my calf and hip when I ran. The pain was frustrating because I am training for a marathon and it was greatly impacting my ability to put in the miles. While I did run in high school, I never did a running analysis before so I didn’t know what to expect. My mind was quickly put at ease when I started working with Paul. I have worked with countless physical therapists in the past for various injuries, but Paul is in a league of his own. He was incredibly thorough in the evaluation and took into account various aspects of my lifestyle to better myself as an athlete. His caring and warm demeanor was fantastic. We looked not only at my running form, but how well my body could move and where my weaknesses were. He made adjustments to my running technique and while it took some time to really incorporate it into my training, it really stepped up my game and made me a much faster runner. Plus my hip doesn’t hurt anymore! I also have an exercise program now that helps me improve. If you are a dedicated athlete and looking to perform at the best of your ability, The Game Plan is where to go. If you’re a casual athlete and want some help with pain/improving your skills, this is the place to go. I highly recommend this place."
"Paul is an excellent and dedicated PT. Being a PT is not a job to him, it is his career and his passion. Even when he is not working, he is constantly educating himself and reading up on the latest research in the profession. His dedication to his profession is mirrored in how he treats and works with his patients. I'm a runner and Paul has been working with a lot of marathon runners and is well versed in proper training and rehab for a successful and injury free marathon or run/race of any kind. I came to him to have him look at my running form and let me know where my strengths and weaknesses were in my form and my general body. He conducted a thorough exam and provided me with a compact and concise home exercise program to help improve my form and strength. I had also been dealing with some low level left sided low back pain at the time from overworking, and he provided me with exercises to address this as well to help improve my strength and reduce my discomfort. Paul spends time with you one on one, listens to what you have to say and explains what he observes in a digestible way and explains why he gives you the exercises he does and what they are meant to do. He is also easily available to reach through email with any questions in a timely manner. It had been ten years since I ran my last marathon when I started training for my most recent one this past Nov. I saw Paul about a year prior to running my most recent marathon, and with his help and advice, I ran my marathon an hour faster than I did ten years ago. You are in good hands with Paul and you will not be disappointed with your results. :) I would recommend him to anyone, and I have. :)"
"I first reached out to Paul at the Game Plan in September ’23 based on several strong referrals after I injured my left shoulder at the gym and had no idea what had gone wrong or where to begin rehabilitation. In our first session, Paul assessed my injury and was able to quickly and correctly diagnose the root cause (later confirmed as 100% correct via X-Rays at an orthopedist’s). Since then, Paul and I have spent the last 3 months working together, and I’m thrilled to report that my shoulder has seen swift and consistent improvements since then, and I’m almost back to 100% much sooner that I would have believed possible. I’ve worked with great physical therapist partners in the past, but it quickly became clear to me that Paul is in a class of his own. Paul has a vast knowledge of the human body and brain/body connection, and he delights in sharing his knowledge and experience with his clients. I found that his insatiable curiosity and passion for his work quickly invited the same in me as a client. More than simply rehabilitating, I’ve learned so much about my own body from Paul. In addition to that, Paul is friendly, engaged and puts great effort into building strong client-practitioner relationships. I truly look forward to our sessions together. More than anything, I am thrilled to report that not only have I seen speedy resolution to my injury but now I actually understand what was happening under the covers that made me vulnerable to injury in the first place. With the therapy schedule Paul has designed, I am confident that I now have the tools to venture deeper into my athletic journey injury-free. For this, I feel incredibly indebted to Paul and grateful for the chance to work together. I recommend him to absolutely anyone looking for a physical therapist who values the commitment, kindness and expertise that Paul stands for."
