"I have been going to Merrick Physical Therapy on and off for years for either myself or one of my kids. The office staff is friendly, professional and helpful. The young men and women who work as assistants are invaluable and I am confident they will each make wonderful therapists themselves one day. The two physical therapists that I have been seeing recently are actually the owners. Jim and Joe are amazing! They are caring, supportive and give you just enough of a push so that you understand that if there’s no pain, there’s no gain. Recovering from an injury or accident is not easy. Attending physical therapy several times a week can certainly become a chore but Jim and Joe make it bearable. There’s absolutely no reason not to go to Merrick Physical Therapy. I highly recommend!"

During my first visit, I was post shoulder arthroplasty surgery and was treated so well by Mr. Mike. One thing I’ve noticed is that he goes above and beyond to make sure my pain is reduced. I found Merrick Physical Therapy, and what a difference. We were lucky enough to get Mike O'Connor - a kind, talented magician. After a few months of PT, my mother is in great shape. Everyone at Merrick PT is enthusiastic about their job and it shows. They want to be there and have smiles on their faces. The place is clean and well run. I am sure all the therapists are very good, but if you're lucky enough to get Mike - well - he is excellent."

"When I came here I thought my shoulder, specifically my rotator cuff, would never feel better. It had hurt for nearly 6 months or more. I met Joe the physical therapist and he knew exactly how to treat what was botherinhg me. He'd stretch places not even close to the problem and they would directly affect the problem. I went only twice a week but over the course of a few weeks it felt better and better. Today I feel almost 100%. I'm only 43 but what I learned from what he's taught me to what I learned from doing, I'm confident going forward I'll be more careful to appreciate a pain free lifestyle. If you are looking for a good place to go to try this one and I definitely recommend Joe. And if you're like me and thought physical therapy wouldn't help, you should give it a shot because it does."
