"I thought my insurance was accepted with this company as seen on their website and I didn’t realize how far their location is from me overalI. I made the appointment and they definitely hassled me a lot. Luckily I checked “my portal” and saw that they were charging me $285 for the session so I quickly emailed them and cancelled. What in the world! Never again! With my insurance it’s supposed to be free. They mentioned if any charge, maybe a minimum of $50. But nope, I can definitely find someone closer who will not need to charge and my insurance will fully cover. I wanted to add that I found them through ZocDoc and I am now realizing the horrible reviews on HERE. Whew, thankfully I went with my instinct."
"I originally made an appointment through ZocDoc. I was instructed the location would follow up with a phone call. I waited a few days and never heard from someone. I called the day before my appointment, no answer and day on my appointment i was told I was in the schedule but they cannot do my appointment. They had my insurance information but then they told me they do not accept it. The girl on the phone was confused and kept checking in with the billing/another department. She went back and forth with if they accept my insurance or not. I was told they did eventually again but the provider i was schedule for had a busy schedule and to rebook with another provider so i did. My appointment was supose to be this week, i was sent paper work to fill out but then got a call they don't take my insurance. Two weeks of back and forth and they really were not put together or helpful. The lady on the phone seemed nice but still. If you don't accept that insurance you shouldn't list it on accepted insurances."
"Marcy is the manager and she was quite rude considering she’s working in the mental health space. This firm ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY. I do not recommend this firm at all. I have gone through several therapists and this is probably the worst firm I have dealt with. Again, THEY JUST WANT TO GET PAID. No care whatsoever for your mental health."
"I hate that my name is attached to this, but honestly if this review helps others steer clear from the experience I had, then it is worth it. If I could give a 0 star review I would. That was the most awkward, uncomfortable and insensitive intake appointment of my life. Julia Silveira had zero empathy. Honestly she showed 0 emotions. When I stated I did not feel comfortable answering certain questions (this was the first meeting, I had no prior connection with them/comfortability), instead of understanding the sensitivity of certain topics she continued to pressure me. I felt like I was being pressured to do things I didn’t feel comfortable doing yet, which is very triggering for a trauma survivor. When I called to cancel all future appointments, I wasn’t even asked why I had decided not to return. I’m trained in trauma response and have been in therapy for 16 years, if I was new to therapy this appointment would have been enough to deter me from wanting to ever try therapy again. I honestly can go on for hours about how awful those 45 minutes were for me. I even explained that I was not in a good place to be completing a depression survey since my dog and uncle both died two days prior. I didn’t even receive a generic “I’m so sorry for your loss”. -100/10."
"I have dual insurance; apparently, they take only one. Not ONCE, but TWICE, they held my diagnosis hostage until I paid them. The first time was more than $200, the second time was $60. They're not concerned about you being help or treatment; they want your money and ONLY your money"
