"first entrance was to the bar/restaurant. server was extremely friendly and curteous. after having one drink i noticed a ROACH on the countertop behind the bar. immediately paid for drink and went to my room. as i walked in room was visually clean at first appearance but after a thorough walk through I noticed there was MULTIPLE small brown ROACHES on the floors, bed, toiletry counter and in shower area. I didn't set any of my belongings down, walked out of the room and left the hotel and stayed at another hotel. didn't ask for a refund because it's obvious this place needs every dime and i didn't want to be offered a "different room." i will NOT return to this location and would advise anyone else to steer clear if at all possible."

"Easy on/off the interstate. Front desk was very nice. I booked online and put a request in the comments. They didn't see it and gave me a room upstairs. I have trouble with stairs so when I told them they took care of it immediately and gave me a room on the 1st floor. Rooms are a little dated but new fridge and microwave. It was very clean. The price was very good."

"The first night we checked into and went to our room we saw roaches.They gave us a different room twice but there were still roaches in our room. We finally decided to stay in the 3rd room the maid cleaned the room and the exterminator sprayed our room but there were still roaches in my room for the 23 days I stayed there. Not only that there was a lot of drug dealing going on.Crack heads hanging around all times of the day.Men and woman banging on each other doors and arguing all times of the day and night. It was like living in the ghetto.I know because I was raised in the ghetto in Philadelphia . People that lived there had no respect for others trying to sleep or keeping the peace.It was obviously a place where people who were homeless and on drugs lived.I wish I had read the reviews before I made my reservation. I didn't feel safe there and I will never go back there not even for one night if it continues the way it is The only thing it has going for it is the location and the low price"

"The room was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom was rusted and paint was chipping, and there was a dead roach on the pillow when I flipped it over I was horrified. The the price they charging to stay here is ridiculous, these rooms should be less than 15.00."

"This was horrible. The receptionist had a horrible attitude when asked the most simple question is the “is it an inward or an outward hotel?” That’s not the only problem they have a roach infestation and won’t take care of it. I left my brothers clothes on the floor and when I woke up there as 5 roaches on the clothes I had to shake them off. There was blood in my aunts room and trash on the floor because it wasn’t previously cleaned. The rooms said conjoining but they most definitely were not. There was hair in the bathtub and the light wouldn’t even turn on. Both of the rooms said no smoking yet it smelt like weed and cigarettes. It was so noisy people were laughing yelling and even cars in the middle of the night. My sister woke up and screamed a roach was dead on her while she slept. So moral of the story never come to Florence Express Inn!"
