"Dr. Douek is a rare find. I just delivered my first baby with him and there were multiple points along the way the Dr. Douek blew me away with his expertise, devotion, and incredible bedside manner. Most of all, Dr. Douek really listens and respects his patients and their wishes. When I found out my baby was breech and desperately wanted to avoid a c-section, Dr. Douek did everything within his power to allow me this opportunity which included a successful ECV at 38 weeks to turn the baby. When I was approaching 10 days past due date, I expressed my desire to avoid an induction and Dr. Douek offered me the option of a membrane sweep (allowing me to come back 3 times in the same day, a few hours apart, with the last time being close to midnight- long after his employees had left!) This allowed me the opportunity to go into labor naturally with my water breaking later that night! When my labor lasted very long and the baby has some difficulty descending, never once did Dr. Douek rush me or try to push me down the path of a c-section where other doctors definitely would have. His approach was, if the baby is tolerating well and you’re willing to keep trying, we’re in this together! In the end, we were able to get to the finish line together and I was able to deliver my baby naturally. I know in my gut that if I had a different doctor, my outcome would have been very different. I was so satisfied with my entire prenatal care and birth with doctor Douek, and am so grateful to him for giving me such an incredibly positive birth experience! Dr. Douek is a rare breed, and I’m so lucky to have had him take care of me during my first pregnancy!"

"Dr. Doueck delivered my baby 8 months ago and I couldn’t be happier with his care. Yes, there are long wait times but only because Dr. Doueck takes all the care in the world to be present with his patients and you feel that when you are in the room with him. He was incredibly motivating during my birth and expertly delivered my “sunny side up” baby swiftly. Throughout all appointments he sat and listened, even about unrelated medical concerns. I could not recommend this doctor more. Gems like Dr. Doueck are rare!"

"Dr Douek is a one of a kind all around fantastic doctor. I must preface this with wait your turn to receive his full attention because when you are in his care you are in fantastic hands. He will do his best to make you completely aware of all relative information and potential outcomes of a situation which we love transparency! Dr Douek spent the time (I think our first apt was 45 mins long) to fully understand my ENTIRE health history to better care for both myself and my growing baby. I even managed to receive better care for my migraines since being under Dr Doueks care. We learned even more about each other when it was time to deliver my baby where my respect for this man grew exponentially. After a long day in the office, this incredible doctor was up all night (watching monitors from his office while I was at the hospital a few blocks away) commanding the delivery floor and then delivered my baby the next morning. During delivery I felt Dr Douek was the best person for this job - coaching me through the process and making sure he could help as much as possible along the way because let’s face it delivering a baby is hard work! You can really see the passion this man has for his work. I also must express the gratitude I have for his entire office staff. Whenever I needed a REAL answer - Heidi would make me feel like I called my mom.. the most relieving feeling ever, especially during a first pregnancy. The nurses and office staff at the front desk are incredible! These girls were always available to hold my hand (literally) during tough moments and always had me laughing even while crying as I went for an induction to go deliver my baby. I couldn’t imagine having another doctor and team behind me."

"Dr. Douek is by far one of the most compassionate, supportive and proficient doctors I’ve encountered. He delivered my first child last week and was constantly in the L&D room throughout the entirety of my 27-hour labor. I specifically wanted to see an OB who was a solo practitioner or in a very small practice, which is very rare these days, so as to increase the odds of my OB actually delivering my child. While this means that the wait times for routine office visits can be long, it is 100% worth it to have Dr. Douek in the delivery room. His guidance and support allowed me to avoid a c-section despite my slow labor progression and I have a beautiful baby girl for whom I will forever be grateful to Dr. Douek for delivering safely. Moreover, Dr. Douek came to check on me in the recovery room on both days of my post-delivery hospital stay. He is a consummate professional and I recommend him without reservation."
