Rachel Masch, MD, MPH

Rachel Masch, MD, MPH is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist located at 281 1st Avenue in New York, New York, United States. Dr. Masch serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Prior to joining Mount Sinai, she directed the Reproductive Choice Service at New York University/Bellevue Hospital where she developed a nationally distributed family planning curriculum. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society of Family Planning.

In addition to her work in family planning, Dr. Masch is the Chief Medical Officer of Basic Health International, an organization focused on eradicating cervical cancer. She is dedicated to education, research, implementation, policy, and advocacy in the field of women's health. Dr. Masch has published in various peer-reviewed journals and presented her research at national and international conferences.

Dr. Masch received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her medical degree from Brown University Medical School. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, and earned a Master in Public Health in Health Policy and Management from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. Dr. Masch has received the William K. Rashbaum Award from Physicians for Reproductive Health.
