"My Wife had sharp pain towards pelvic left ovary in Dec and after all diagnostic tests the OBGYN concluded that she need to do hysterectomy because it “may be possibly” an ovarian cancer (OC) therefore need to consult Gyn oncologist. We consulted two surgeons : Dr Prasad from Mount Sinai and another from Sloan Kettering. Both surgeons were good and had different approach but we are glad that we went with Dr. Prasad. Because: 1. Her diagnostics skills- are superior as she was able to read and interpret the MRI clearly and concluded it may be "Endometriosis" not OC. Usually for any kind of cyst/ fibroid / tumors without doing biopsy its very hard to conclude if its benign or cancerous. 2. Surgical skills- A Patient doesn't do surgery or remove ovary multiple times therefore it’s hard to quantify & compare but based on post-operative it seems she is superb in her surgical skills. 3. Bedside manners are awesome - i.e. clear communication , concern, follow-ups , empathy & personalized approach …. I definitely recommend her."
