Northwell Health Physician Partners Obstetrics and Gynecology at Commack

"Im sad to say that after many years of going to Dr Gianni that I was extremely let down by the care and also the office. I had felt a lump in my breast that felt different then a normal cyst. It was also very red implying there was an infection. Nervous i called the office first thing at 9am. All day, i was waiting for them to just take 5 min to see me as this was not a reg routine checkup as this was a big scare. I called 4 times to the office while they kept saying Oh the dr is aware and we are trying to fit you in. I wouldve seen anyone even another dr. This wouldve taken a few min just to look at as when you go in for your normal checkups that is first thing the drs and nurses do is to check your breasts so i knew that anyone looking couldve been helpful. All day had passed. I took off of work. I called numerous times to be stood up. Dr Gianni Rodriguez knew and even if she couldnt see me she never even called. I spoke to 4 secretaries too and Linda the secretary i spoke to couple times and she was beyond rude. In a time where a woman is scared, to receive the manor in which Linda and Dr Rodriguez has shown was disgusting. After many years of seeing her this was not a first time as in the past she had dismissed me as in past she sent me for important tests and then never even calls me to review the results. This place is quick to bill you but the care is not there. And its sad because we rely on the drs when theres something that occurs like this. I had waited until 6pm before the office phones were shut off from calling at 9am!!! I was so annoyed I then called back and prompted an oncall dr to call me back from Northwell health and the on-call dr even felt bad that this happened. From 9am to end of day nothing!! I took off of work and waited for anyone to look at me and no one did. Not even a call from my Dr !! I had to then call a hospital and then a plastic surgeon to see if they can see me which the other options were helpful as the next morning i went to see another dr that was not northwell health, while my own very dr and facility snubbed me. I complained to Linda as she decided to call me at 7pm after i called the oncall dr she coincidentally called me. And gave me a huge attitude saying oh dr was still in office and they didnt leave. And I said phones were off as office was closed when you call as it was now 7pm. And still after all of that waiting and taking off of work and the huge attitude no one saw me and not even a call from the dr before she went home as it was told to me all day she knew the situation. Horrible medical manor and after years of them getting paid by my insurance to them and me being a loyal patient, I am now looking for another gynecologist. One who will care more for her patients and have better ratings. Northwell health should really change the staff and doctors who dont care and be sympathetic in the time of a crisis such as this. Never again will i go to this office."

"Meeting with Laurie Brucia was the best experience I ever had with a doctor and/or medical professional! She is SMART, KIND, PATIENT, EMPATHETIC AND VERY THOROUGH. If I could give Laurie 10 stars I would. Also, there was a woman there named Marie who was so nice, kind and also patient and professional. I am so grateful to the entire staff--from the receptionist to the medical professionals....they were stellar in their delivery of services and I am FOREVER grateful! They have truly restored my faith in the healthcare system...Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

"I've been seeing Dr. Goldman for a little more then two years now. I am there often since I have had my share of gynecological and fertility issues. He is amazing with my care and takes his time with me when it's my turn to see him. To me I think he is always well worth the wait and I am greatful for him being so caring and compassionate with all I have been through. The staff has always shows me great kindness and they have always held my spirits up with a hug and some tissues."

"Very irresponsible, inconvenient and unprofessional practice. I scheduled an appointment three months ahead of time with dr. Rodriguez (in February for May). I received a call two days prior to my appointment letting me know that my appointment was cancelled and needed to reschedule. The only appointment available was in two months, after I had waited three months to see the doctor. I choose to schedule with another doctor to get an appt sooner, however they called to cancel that appointment as well. They do not consider their patients needs or time, they should prepare better for unexpected cancelations and not inconvenience the patients. I Called NYU LANGONE and was seen by a doctor in TWO DAYS!"

"I was connected with this practice through Northwell Hospitals and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived I filled out my paperwork and was waiting to see a doctor when I was told my schedule had been made with an NP who couldn’t see new patients, especially pregnant ones. I filled out a request to have my old doctor to send over my medical records since the office would not reschedule my appointment without them, even temporarily. After multiple attempts by my former doctor to send over the records we found out that they have the wrong fax number on their record request form. When they finally received the records I got a call confirming receipt and was then told that they were not accepting new patients and were so understaffed that the next available would be February 2022 (coincidentally when I was due). This is after 6 weeks of trying to get an appointment between the in-person visit which never happened and all the phone calls to try and transfer my medical records. By that time I was already overdue for my next appointment so I went to another doctor. Now 8 weeks later I got a call saying that the individual who told me they weren’t accepting new patients and had no appointments was lying, and if anyone from their office tells me tries to tell me that I should ignore them… Would not recommend this experience to anyone. I cannot say anything regarding the doctors at this practice but given the amount of work, miscommunications and failures in scheduling there are certainly easier offices to get appointments at."
