"Absolutely terrible, they came to my work about 2 years ago to convince me to sign up for a retirement plan, knowing that there was an extremely good chance I moved back home out of country less than a year later. After I left the country, I reached out and changed my address and asked them about fees if I was to keep the account open. I changed my address and they assured me there was going to be now fees it will just grow. For the past year I have not received a statement until today. This whole time I thought my money was being purely invested with no fees, understandably I knew it was going down because of the way the stock market is. When I received my statement today I found out they have taken hundreds of dollars in management fees which I was told I would not have. Then when I asked them if I could remove it because I was not happy with their service they are now charging me a disbursement fee on top of all the other fees that I had accumulated and was promised I would not have. I am extremely disappointed to a company take advantage of someone. (If I would have seen/ known that they were charging management fees I would have taken my money out immediately as soon as I moved out of the country). Has anyone else received these promised and they have not been followed up on? I am all for supporting local companies, but not ones that take advantage of you, promise you one thing and do the other and try to hide it by not sending statements. I highly advise against using Burke group as they have almost taken all my retirement savings in "management fees"!"
