"The best swimming pool in Monroe County. It would be even better with the following improvement: - Change the shower curtain in the changing area some better materials; - I pay the same as those members in Penfield & Pittsford pay monthly but I don't get the steam room and a walking alley here on the West side."

"My wife and I travel for work. Most placements last about a month, sometimes more, but we always make it a point to choose areas that offer reasonable access to a YMCA. When our business brings us to western NY it has become a necessity to see Maurice at the Gates Y these last few years. The staff as a whole is wonderful but he is truly ONE OF A KIND. He has helped us feel like we were old friends AND despite being away for 8+ months he always seems remember us. With our work it often feels impossible to make lasting impressions before we leave but he has really imprinted on us. We were disappointed to miss him our visit last week, but fate (and a little digging) put us on his path and we were able to visit him while he's in the hospital. We wish you a speedy recovery and we are here to help if you need it. Great job to the Rochester YMCA for producing top-notch employees! Ta-Ta."
