"Dr. Eric Gantwerker is great. Very experienced and knowledgeable . The problem I have is with the lady at the front desk. Today my son had an appointment and when I came in I was ignored. Usually I tell them he has an appointment and give his name and they check him in. So I just wrote his name on the sheet and sat down. Then a patient came out with his dad and when the dad went to that same receptionist she nicely said “oh I have to help her first” and then she finally called me and checked my son in with an attitude. Then she called the other dad and said “I’m ready to make the next appointment “. Anyway after seeing Dr, Gantwerker I was told by one of the girls at the front desk to go back to that same receptionists to make my next appointment and when I went to her and said “I have to make an appointment “ she just looked at me and ignored me. I didn’t make the next appointment because she was just ignoring me and I didn’t want to make a scene in front of my 3 year old so I left. LIJ needs to do a better job with the hiring process. She is getting paid to work and her disgusting, dehumanizing behavior needs to be put in check"

"usually I don’t write reviews but this was very necessary. Do not go to this place, they’re very unprofessional and rude. They have zero customer service skills. They scheduled me for a surgery procedure with Dr. Shikowitz and I waited three months also took two weeks off from my work. but they call me the day before and cancel my surgery. the person who called said she was the manager of doctor Shikowitz. She was rude and not even once she apologized for canceling my surgery. she told me that he had an emergency case to see on that day. After she canceled my appointment, the surgical team called me and wanted to confirm my surgery. It seemed weird because he was having other surgery on that day but only my appointment was canceled so it seems like he is not having any emergency. When I told the surgical team that the doctor's office called and canceled my appointment they were confused because they didn’t see any cancellations of his schedule. After that, his office never called back to clarify the situation. Later I saw a couple of reviews where they talked about their unprofessional behavior. I wish i had seen that before so I wouldn’t have wasted my time. Do not waste your money here the whole place is very very unprofessional."

"The staff and location are fine. But if you know your child has an adenoid problem don’t come here. They waste your time by checking you and then send you off to do a sleep test. Go some place else. I went to Andrew Blank in Queens and he knew exactly what the problem was within minutes and we set up surgery right away."

"So let me start by positive it's an very clean facility everybody's professional doctors when they see you they are great the reason is two stars, number one appointments are too far in between so doctors have a hard time following up 2nd no matter what appointment time there's all this at least A 2 hour wait so I don't see the purpose of having an appointment if you have to wait two plus hours and also what they do is they have you first wait in the lobby for an hour and a half then they make it seem like you're ready to see the doctor you'll go inside the room and then sit there for another half an hour to wait for the doctor so it feels like the process is moving but it's not!! so at least give yourself two to two-and-a-half hours for an appointment plus to make an appointment at least 2 months"

"If you are white yeah ~all welcome by staff No Appointment time necessary, Whoever finish with the New patient form first they are the one who can see the dr first even if you have earlier appt. than others staff/ acting like they are top of something, attitude disgusting Waiting 3hrs to see dr. Spend time with dr. 30 sec. Is this place only option? Then good luck"
