"Emily is a dream. First time she did my facial I asked her to walk me through what each item or massage did for my skin and why she was using them or doing them for mine. She did just that. I was blown away by her knowledge. She connected the dots on so many things that helped me realize why my skin was doing what it was doing. She gave me a full education that day and I was hooked ever since. With each new appointment, she would see what my skin was doing and would assess my skin and change the protocol each time to accommodate. Her services are amazingly deep and thorough. Everything felt amazing and even the uncomfortable parts of extractions weren't so bad. She does so much prep to bring everything to the surface that it doesn't require much for her to get it all out of your pores. I was almost positive, since my face needed several extractions, that I would leave a red spotted mess. To my amazement, when I got up to look at my skin, it was glowing. It looked so clean and refreshed. Another point I have to make, I feel most places make you choose something from their intense menu of services, which leaves you to have to assume what your skin needs. It was a relief to just book a facial and have Emily decide (the professional) what I needed for that session. I find other places I look at their menus and get very overwhelmed. With Emily I feel confident I am booking a facial where whatever my skin needs it will get. If there are add ons/ upgrades that are additional, she would suggest them, but never have I felt pressured to add them. She takes time to explain how they would help elevate my skin, instead of making me feel like my skin would be horrible without them. Emily, beyond her esthetician knowledge and professionalism, is a deeply kind person who will transfer her amazing energy to you as you walk into her cozy tucked away location. I cannot say enough amazing things about Haus of Glow. So very happy to have found this slice of pampering heaven in the Hudson Valley."
