Reviews of USA Nails
"Went in not even 5days ago and my nails are just a mess. The girl had me there for nearly two hours and to give the girl an idea of what color I wanted to do I showed her a pic and she insisted she could do it…. Yeah ummm no definitely not my nails look like crap everyone that had seen them even said it looked like a kid did them. I won’t be returning and if your looking for something simple with a tiny design this is not the place to go Needless to say I’m off to a new nail salon to get these redone which is a shame when I just spent $70 just a few days ago. Never again"
"1. Made an appointment for 2 gel Manis and 2 gel pedis, when we showed up they were not prepared, we waited like the rest of the walk ins. 2."pedicure" is a reach, yes there was water, but that was it. Clipped nails, barely filed, and I ended up with more gel on my skin than my actual nails. 3. I specifically asked for the hard gel for the manicure, I was told the bottle of gelish was "same thing, but easier." I've been getting my nails done for years, but it seemed thicker so I thought maybe a new technique. Wrong. It is literally the thin gel polish that does nothing to strengthen the nails that they over grinded. Also, never smoothed out gel so there are bumps galore. Additionally, very sloppy and rushed (see photo). 4. Follow up: 2 days (went Monday afternoon, this is wednesday morning) later, I have 3 nails that have already peeled off. I called to let them know, they don't care. Best they'll do is "fix" them. Sorry, not worth it to return just to have the same poor quality redone. Buyer beware."
"BE AWARE: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Do NOT let Vincent work on your set. I went today to get my nails done for my Bachelorette Party. I arrived just before 6 pm, asked for a mani and pedi. They took my right away. I changed my mind shortly into the mani that I wanted a set. Vincent began talking to the other employees in their language clearly complaining about the change in service because a woman tech walked over and said "you want long nails instead now?" I understood their frustration, but I changed my mind - too bad, I'm the customer. Às he was doing my set, I noticed the copious amount of acrylic he was using but figured he knew what he was doing (he didn't). From there, Vincent switched me over to my pedi before filing my set down while he proceeded to sit next to me in a chair and play on his phone. They began closing at 7 pm - I specially went to USA nails because Google AND their hours sign in the window says they close at 8 pm. At this point, they began to rush. A woman nail tech came over and starting filing my set WHILE I WAS GETTING MY PEDI. She cut me numerous times and didn't apologize once. She began painting my set, and I had to put my hands into cure in a very awkward position. I asked for the gel polish on my toes to match my fingers and they were annoyed about this request because they only had one polish of my color. Another woman nail tech came over and took over painting my toes. At this point, she is the FOURTH nail tech to work on me. They continously filed my toes to the point of being raw. I felt so unbelievably uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. The one nail tech asked if I liked my nails as she could clearly tell I was not happy with them and I said they're okay just to get out of there. The acrylics are uneven, way too wide (I look like I have paddles for fingernails), and the underside of the nail was never cleaned leaving an excessive amount of acrylic. My finger tips were also covered in acrylic after I left. I will be going tomorrow in hopes that a reputable salon can fix this poor excuse of a set. My fingers look like paddles and I could have done a better design. I have had sets for years prior to this and i have never been in this much pain after a new set. $85 + tip was not worth it. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy."
"I don’t get my nails done often, and I’ve gone to U.S.A. nails in the past and had great experiences. Today not so much, I got a full set and everything seemed great at first, until more business was coming in…I felt like I was then being rushed which resulted in a bad paint job, I had air pockets in the polish, and some corners were messed up…I had requested to just remove the polish and just do tips with the color, but the person who took care of me just used remover to touch up the air pockets and the corners and just said I didn’t try my nails long enough…I was extremely saddened that I was rushed due to customers coming in…I won’t be returning."
"I waited about half an hour to get my nails done, which wasn’t too bad considering they seemed busy. Very friendly employees, and I enjoyed the conversation I had while getting my nails done, but the quality was just very poor. I walked out with four or five cuts near my cuticles from where they nicked me with the nail drill. On top of that, the very next day the matte top coat on my nails started to peel off. As I’m leaving this review, I now have 8/10 nails that have peeled. Clearly the layers of polish under the top coat were still wet when they applied the matte finish. Not just that, the heat machine they used to dry the gel polish burned my pointer finger and I left with a mark from that as well. I paid $80 for a $50 service because I was thankful they could get me in before close, but at this point I’m regretting leaving that extra $30. Edit: I cannot come back to get them fixed, as I live out of town."
