Counseling Center - Syracuse University

The Counseling Center at Syracuse University, located at 150 Sims Drive in Syracuse, New York, offers a range of confidential and free services to support students in need. In case of a life-threatening emergency, students are advised to call 911. For mental health crises, sexual assault or relationship violence support, or urgent medical consultation, students can call 315.443.8000, available 24/7.

Individual counseling provides a safe space for students to discuss their concerns with a professional and create a plan of action for daily living. Relationship support services are also available for undergraduate and graduate students, including Couple's Enrichment and Couple's Counseling to strengthen relationships and address challenges.

Family Counseling is offered to help students and their local family members navigate transitions and adapt to changes, with virtual and in-person sessions available. Additionally, psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic services are available to assist cohabiting students in creating a functional living environment through Roommate Mediation.
