"I have gone to GRO over the years for a variety of orthopedic concerns. Most recently, I have been seeing them at their Urgent Care office for a foot injury. The receptionist and the xray technologist are very professional, empathic, and caring. The PA (Julie Worthinton) is thorough, listens carefully, focuses on ME (not the computer screen!), teaches me, and helps me understand how to care for my foot injury. I feel very safe and well cared for by this team!"
"My boyfriend saw P.A. Ray Montanaro. Ray is very knowledgeable and kind. He explained things in layman’s terms. It’s been easy to get appointments here too. Called for an appointment and got in the next day! They also got him insurance approval for an MRI and scheduled it within a week!"
"I had my carpal tunnel surgery done by Dr. Stein and he is absolutely awesome! He has a great bedside manner and I was made to feel at ease. Everyone from, Dr. Stein, to the receptionists, secretaries and nurses are all very friendly and compassionate."
"Just went there today to get my cast put on because I fractured my wrist. The office staff was nice and even helped me fill out my forms (because I broke my wrist on my writing hand). The guy who put my cast on, Ray was nice as well. Turns out he is an avid Bills fan like myself (go Bills). Would definitely recommend people to check this place out if they need an Ortho."
"I have developed a shoulder problem which after an MRI turns out that my rotator cuff is shot. I was somewhat disappointed with both Dr Peartree and Dr Stein when I visited with them. Dr Peartree was not helpful in showing me the MRI results except to say that my condition was inoperable and I left feeling that I deserved what had happened to me . Sure I brought it upon myself but a few words of encouragement might have been helpful. I met later with Dr Stein and his PA. He was more helpful in showing me the MRI images but to be quite honest I felt like I was a lab specimen as he talked about my condition to his PA. Then as a parting comment he informed me that my shoulder was that of an 89 year old man (I am 69) Maybe true but not very comforting. Again no words of how to deal with the situation going forward and no empathy. I know these doctors experience these situations everyday but a little encouragement to those of us who are suffering through these problems wouldn't go amiss"
