"Be aware of this unprofessional office specially if you have commercial insurance/private insurance. I made an appt today at 9:30am, woke up at 7:30am and prepped myself for the visit. When I got there, the front desk lady told me to pay $200 dollars for the visit bcoz I haven't met my deductible which happens often to ppl who has commercial insurance. Well, if I am not working in insurance field I would've been scammed, that person obviously doesn't know how to check insurance. My plan fully covers a PAPSMEAR and ROUTINE exam once a year, OB-GYN service not applicable to deductible, I just need to pay copay $50 bucks and doctor will be good to bill. The front desk lady told me that "no, yes specialist copay is $50 bucks, but you are responsible for this deductible". I've been working in medical field specifically check insur eligibilities and billing for nearly 5 years, I don't know how many ppl got scammed just by them saying: you have not met your deductible and you need to pay for the visit". Apparently the office is tricking people for money, it's Sunday morning, I did not want to argue with this unprofessionally trained lady in the front desk, I did not want to waste my time to show her my plan's EVIDENCE OF COVERAGE. I just said my good bye and left the office. Hopefully more ppl see this review and be aware of them asking you pay out of pocket."

"They are scammers. I booked this appointment 2 weeks ago They called and texted a gazillion times to confirm. I get all the way to Brighton Beach Avenue and Brighton 15th, they tell me I have a $65 copay. Ok, I didn't think a midwife fell under a specialist but sure. THEN they proceeded to tell me that my visit was going to be $350 today because I have to also see a Dr. & I need a sonogram. I'm sorry, what? How on God's green earth can you determine I need that when you don't know my medical history and that I've been poked and prodded in more ways you can imagine over the past few years. You also do not have the right to demand unnecessary tests on patients. I was like yeahhhh...noooo... you can cancel my appointment. No one said anything about this. They're a scam."

"ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! Currently pregnant with my FIRST child and came to K&K for a same day ultrasound, as I was told they do. I even called and they confirmed.They made it a point to be on time because the doctor was fully committed that day and that i couldn’t even be 10mins late.I arrived for my appointment on time at 2pm and wasn’t seen until 3pm and there were only two people in front of me. When I arrive the receptionist was out front smoking and had to use the key to let me in. She wasn’t friendly AT ALL. I wasn’t told about the 5% card fee so I had to pay cash even though there is a sign that reads 3% card fee on the front desk. The Doctor was Amazing, I think her name is Irene. She was very welcoming and soft and congratulated me on my 1st pregnancy. I’ve been calling the front desk over a week for my ultrasound results. Either no answer and everything is always the next day. They don’t return phone calls. I went last Wednesday and it’s next Wednesday and I had to argue with the front desk for my ultrasound. She claim to be so busy at 12pm so I asked for the doctor she said the doctors isn’t in today… so WHY ARE YOU SO BUSY THAT YOU CANT SEND MY RESULTS VIA EMAIL as I was told a week ago. Shes very short and dismissive. After I receive my results I will never return here because of the blonde/white hair receptionist"

"So, I tried to leave a review on ZocDoc and they wouldn't allow due to my wording. I went in for an appointment for a yearly last year and they did a US and found I had a lowlying IUD that was placed from a previous GYN. I was told to schedule for a removal and placement of a new IUD. I go in for that appointment and the front desk stated I needed to pay a few hundred for them ordering a new IUD and for placement. I told them I just wanted it removed at that point because it didn't make sense. I wasn't told prior to my appointment. They said it was due to my deductible and I still needed to pay. I left and ended up scheduling with another provider and didn't have to pay for any of that..like most places. That being said, I work in the medical field (multi specialty) and I've had multiple patients come to me and explain their experiences with this place. Unnecessary or unauthorized procedures and payments. If it was just one, I'd say, not a big deal. But we're talking multiple. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. If a patient has to pay for a procedure or whatever it is prior to appointment, there should be notification prior to appointment. Absolutely unprofessional and you can just save your money because most insurances will cover said procedure."

"Dr Dina is great; she’s kind and professional. Always listens to my concerns and gives great advice regarding my health: most important; I feel comfortable and safe in her health care. The office is clean and the other medical professionals are kind and welcoming. The medical assistant is great too; I get blood work everytime im there and it is always quick and painless"
