"This place is absolutely horrible. Not only does this place do the OPPOSITE of what they are meant to do, but they make your problems even worse so I advise you, go somewhere better and not in some sketchy neighborhood with horrible therapists."
"Excellent clinic, terrific staff. 5+ stars!"
"Bianca Nuñez has been my son's therapist for a couple of months now and I just came to the conclusion that this person has been doing more damage than good to my son's health. I visited the place for the second time a couple weeks ago and I left the place in panic. She used the time she was supposed to spend treating my child in personal accusations following the child's mother advice. Since there's a friendship between these two who are also coworkers, Ms. Nuñez proceeded to tell me to leave my house, while ignoring the fact that I was a victim of domestic violence from her coworker/friend. This indicates a lack of ability to perform her job properly. It lacks ethics and professionalism. Ms Bianca ignored the fact that she was using time that was paid by my child insurance to personally attack me. Stay away from this unprofessional, unpleasant, and nasty place."
"Avoid this Clinic in Freeport like COVID -19. The Clinical Director of the children counseling center is a liar. They close out my daughters case in March of this year which was a lie. The Clinical Director of the children's program indicated that she had sent out a letter to my home indicating this......which was also a lie. I spoke with my daughters NP Kathy in May of this year so if her case was closed Kathy would not have given my daughter a call for a session. I informed Kathy that Sheryl the counseling for my daughter has not called her in a while and wanted to know if she had reached out to her. To my understanding you can not just see a NP or a psychiatrist if you do not have therapy in place. So this is another reason why the "Clinical Director" not assistant director Anna was LYING. Kathy informed me that Sheryl has not reached out to her regarding my child's progress in therapy nor has she stated that they case was closed. When I tried to get my child enrolled back into the program the Clinical Director was Very Rude and Nasty. Instead of assisting in this process she continue to state that the "SO Call Dates that her therapies had given me a Call" All Lies. I look in my cell phone and I never received a call from Sheryl- on the dates she indicated and her therapies was writing P-Notes for the false telephone calls. Then the Clinical Director gets upset and states to me are your calling me a Liar......Yes I am because this is what you ARE. SO nothing was accomplished during this call and the only reason why she reached out to me was to argue with a parent on the telephone. VERY Unprofessional...... I tried to call back to speak with the person over top of the Clinical Director of the children unit at South Shore but they keep given me the run around. If this is how this agency is RAN no one should attend their program. I will be given DOH a call to report them!!!"
"Don't trust the therapists or "nurses". Not even 5 minutes into my evaluation where they suggesting medication when we barley started the questioner. I have nothing against medication but to suggest medication to a client without prior medical history knowledge and current health or medication is dangerous and unprofessional. I have been to other clinics and have never been made this uncomfortable or had such a strong promotion of medication without even a diagnosis or complete evaluation. Tell me why the "nurse" kept pressuring the idea of meds even when I explicitly said how I'd rather wait to talk with my therapist as I had not even one session yet. Her response was to keep pressuring even "low" doses of said medication. Once again we were not even halfway done with our "evaluation". The "evaluation" itself was generic and consisted of basic questions that one would find online. It was nothing like my previous more in depth evaluations from other clinics. Then on top of that the therapist (Figueira) without even trying to ask about my previous history of therapy, assumed and made a serious accusation of a previous diagnosis, that I never received in the past. She stated that it was the reason I had receive therapy in the past and was why I came back to this new clinic. She did not even ask why I was in therapy in previously. Did not try to get to know me or my situation. She as well, continued to pressure the use of meds on me even when I expressed discomfort, as again we have not even had our first full session. I find it strange and highly dangerous that this clinic has a strong obsession with medication, and with it just being offered out like candy. I had a friend who went here an warned me about a therapist who did not listen to her, but instead the therapist would talk about their own problems, remaining unprofessional. I knew this but still decided to give this place a try. I will not be returning. The only genuine person here was the nice guy who took my intake. I had a longer an more genuine listening experience with the intake person than I did with the nurse and therapist. I've never felt such unprofessionalism from a clinic until now."
