"Bad business preying in desperate and vulnerable people seeking help! I came to Rave Psychiatry as a single mother in crisis seeking help for myself and my daughter. As you may know, it is extremely difficult to find care right now so I was pretty desperate. After an extremely confusing and misleading intake process where my calls were directed to an out-of-office operator, I finally got an appointment! Problem is… Rave psychiatry has partnered with SouthEnd Psychiatry, a tele-health company, that now manages it’s clients so all appointments are virtual (this was not disclosed to me until after my appointment was scheduled). After a couple of appointments when both myself and my daughter, in a vulnerable position, began to develop a relationship with our therapist I received a TEXT that our therapist didn’t have the capacity to see us anymore. I do not want to start with another therapist. My 5-year-old daughter has developed a relationship with her therapist. We never should have been placed with her if she couldn't accommodate another client. This has been extremely harmful to myself and my daughter."

"STAY AWAY! This place is most likely a scam. I submitted the new client forms online, left voicemails, sent text messages on various occasions to follow up on my many requests for therapy. Each time they informed me someone would reach out to schedule me in. Someone would reach out but never actually offer me any actual appointment times. I was able to set up an in person appointment with a provider via their website. I arrive to their malverne location, it is closed with no signs dictating anything about rave psychiatry. See attached photos. They even ask for your social security number I have no idea what they are doing with this information since clearly they are not setting up actual therapy sessions."
