"Went there extremely sick wasn’t a long wait they move pretty fast got checked for flu and Covid both negative I think I have a sinus infection I was given antibiotics and a couple other things after the first day of taking meds felt extremely better thank god I saw DR.LEE also a plus the pharmacy right next door"
"This urgent care is way better than some other urgent cares I've been to in terms of how I was treated by the staffs and how they have an x-ray machine at the facility which is rare to me because I always had to get an x-ray referral at a radiology place. Dr. Zhang and his team Chou and Luke were so informative and caring that I definitely will be coming back. Looking at the recently low reviews is pretty shocking but I'm guessing there's always going to be good days and bad days, not to mention how popular it is here so I can see why the wait time can be long as there's only 1 doctor as I'm told. They are always on their feet trying to get things done so I see where they are coming from and feel empathy for them."
"I always go to this place because they are good with patients. Well, today was not the same as the other times!! The Doctor basically blew me off when I asked for REAL cough meds so I could get some relief and be able to eat and sleep. He said he would take care of it, well he didn’t! He sent KIDS ROBITUSSIN and I am a grown woman. I told him I’ve tried every OTC cough med to no avail and he still did this. Then he prescribed me Amoxicillin despite the fact I told him 3 minutes earlier that I’m deathly allergic to it! I called to see what was up and got left on hold then hung up on. When I called back, the receptionist tried to play it off saying I received someone else’s meds when I know that’s not the truth! I understand her trying to cover the doctors mistakes and I don’t fault her for just doing her job. Anyway, I would go back here, just NOT when Dr. Brandon Monk is going to be there! I’d rather die before seeing that guy again. He is totally useless and I absolutely will be reporting him to the medical board for what he did (or lack thereof). I never EVER leave bad reviews, but since he put my health and wellbeing in jeopardy, I felt this was absolutely justified. UMD - GET RID OF THIS GUY BEFORE HE DESTROYS YOUR BUSINESS!!! I see several other bad reviews about him here and on other medical review platforms. Other than him, the rest of the staff is great and very accommodating. The other doctors are great! The Receptionists are very sweet and their nurses are great as well! Also, just found out another medication he prescribed can cause a deadly reaction if taken with my current meds. SMH! To say this Doctor is incompetent would be putting it nicely. All of my current meds and allergies are listed in my chart with them. Unbelievable!"
"I took my nine-year-old son here. He ran a very high fever all night. I could not get his temperature to go down despite giving him over-the-counter medicines like Tylenol and Motrin. Luckily, there was no one there, so the wait time was OK. The intake person was also the receptionist who does not have any medical knowledge basically asked all the questions then 10 minutes later, the doctor comes in with someone else. No introduction, no nothing. He looked like he just woke up from bed and got dressed in the dark and came to work. He basically tells his colleague something about flu, proceeds to tell her to send prescriptions for flu meds. he does not say a word to me , does not ask me a single question, did not check my son. then I finally spoke up and said he has the flu? Only then he spoke and proceeded to check my son's lungs and throat. He spent total of 3 minutes then asked if I wanted to go to the next-door pharmacy I said OK then I sat in the waiting room for another good 15 minutes with my sick son who's shivering and burning a fever. I get out of the room to see what's going on. I hear all these commotions, laughing and giggling and all the staff just chilling then I asked what's next for me and they're like oh you could go to the pharmacy and pick up your meds now. I said this is ridiculous and stupid! Why did you make me wait all this time for no reason then? she proceeded to tell me: "don't come back next time!" and she ran to the reception area, and said she's red marking my profile. I don't know what this means and also, I forgot to mention when the receptionist didn't take my son's weight, they were like oh, someone to yell at today.! I just have to say you're in the healthcare business! Have some empathy and some compassion and maybe just a bit professionalism! Also it doesn't cost you money to consult your patients. That's why you went to medical school so please do your job and earn an honest living! And for the receptionist who will red mark my profile-- get some help!!"
"This place was top notch when Dr Ko was there. I miss him so much. He was gentle, kind and answered all my questions. He never rushed and always put me @ ease. Dr. Daniel Zhang you need to follow Dr Ko's lead. It's called compassion and kidness. If I could write a prescription for Dr Zhang it would be a dose of bedside manners. Sadly I won't be back to this urgent care."
