"The clinic is a great place for therapy and as a bonus, they have psychiatric medication management. I read the reviews but most of them don't take into account the availability that ALMOST ALL MENTAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS HAVE. It's a stressful time and many people are in need of support but sadly, as a result, everywhere has a waitlist and can't take every client. The Front Desk staff is amazing and extremely helpful. In one encounter, there was a one sided verbal altercation a client had with a Front Desk over scheduling (which was completely out of their hands). Their Office Manager handled it very professionally and with great diligence especially for someone that looked very young. I've dealt with the pass Office Managers and staff that were much older but didn't have the professionalism and calmness this young man had. Only thing that needs some work is their Intake Department. They have nice young girls that are very understanding and really are trying their very best in these troubling times. Again, they're amazing but they're kinda difficult to get a hold of but when they do, they offer nothing but support. I’ve been a client here for sometime and they’ve sure come along way especially within the last year. I had to take the time to write this review because of the ones posted are from people who didn't get their way. I've sent it when I've been there in person. My people treat the staff like they're not humans only because they didn't get their way."
"Do not trust this center with your mental health care. My family had been using this center for many years and the quality of both the front desk staff and the therapists went downhill. The front desk staff is unresponsive, makes mistakes and won't acknowledge them, and has often made no effort at basic customer service. Like other users, we have had appointments made without our prior knowledge or consent. There is also poor communication between the therapists, psychologists, and the front desk staff so processes go unexplained and it's hard to get answers. What's worse, however, is how my son's therapist oversaw his care. She did not go over a treatment plan with us and did not attempt to find out what our goals for his treatment were. Without input from his parents or psychiatrist, she decided he was done with therapy and closed his case without our consent. This meant he was cut off from his medication. His psychiatrist wasn't informed what was happening. Our emails and calls went unanswered. The administration was unaware of the lack of communication on the therapist's end. This was a breach of duty of care. We received no paperwork or notification of the closure of our case. It's absurd for a center for Mental Health to ghost a patient, and a minor at that. There aren't words strong enough to express how poorly this center is run. Avoid them."
"I've been taking my son here for years. While the therapists have been good we have switched them constantly cause they leave. This is pre-pandemic. The staff turns over a lot too. They are nice and kind, seem to be trained well. When it comes to my sons prescription there has been constant confusion and problems lately. Causing my son to miss important doses. The lady who takes care of the insurance stuff is a wiz. She handles all the problems smoothly. She's 6 stars. Overall the place is good but the turn over and lack of consistency hurts their rating."
"Horrible. Was a year wait list for them to see my 8 yr old. Understandable, and it was the only place that accepted our insurance so we gave it a try. The office is so disorganized, but not sure if that had anything to do with Covid. We started virtual therapy in April 2020 and my daughters’ therapist was changed 4 different times in a 5 month period, with no explanation as to why. When we started an ADHD med, my daughter developed very low blood pressure and it was impossible to get in touch with the psychiatrist who prescribed the medication. Not her fault, because the office never relayed the numerous messages I left. We were told we could join a support group of other kids/families and that never happened. There was never any check in or communication with any of the therapists. The office staff is entirely useless and every time we had to call it was a game of phone tag. They sometimes just schedule appts for you without letting you even know. So disappointed in the care provided here. Hope others have a better experience than we did."
"Very good service. Been having regular therapy sessions and have seen psychiatrists there for 10 years (give or take). Haven't experienced any trouble or bad service. In terms of therapists, I've had many helpful ones and only experienced 2 'duds'. In regards said 2 therapists i had issues with: not too serious or worth ranting about and certainly isn't enough to effect my overall experience. One simply left the center too early before I could make any progress with her, the other got a bit uppity about attending sessions. But said therapists have long left this center so don't worry, I'm just speaking from my own experience. OVERALL: the majority of therapists I've had have all been helpful, even the so called 'duds' - as I did make at least some progress during my time with them despite some conflict. I definitely recommend this clinic if you can get in."
