"I went to Maxwell Medical for around 5 months. The staff is very nice and the facilities are nice but the treatment plan is almost inexistent. Every time you come in you get a basic “massage like” treatment. Sometimes you don’t even get a physical therapist and you have someone who just focuses on massages. Every time I went there I had a different therapist and there was absolutely no consistency. Sometimes you would have to tell them it’s the other shoulder or other arm. After 5 months we never lifted one weight or progressed my treatment. This was my first serious injury and wasn’t sure what normal protocol for sports injuries was. I started a new therapy place and after 6 weeks I feel significantly better. Rather than getting a meaningless ultrasound and a shoulder rub I’m lifting weights and developing strength in my hurt area. The staff at Maxwell is very nice but this is not real physical therapy."
