CityMD Park Slope Urgent Care - Brooklyn

"My initial greeting was that they no longer take my insurance even though their web site still list it. With the enormous co-pay I was desperate for some treatment because my PCP was unavailable at that moment. The medical tech who tested me prior to the doctor was great. I didn’t get his name but I am astonished that a Dr can practice in the capacity of an urgent care. I was never asked to lay back, get comfortable, or checked they way any doctor I been to. He checked my breathing with his stethoscope over my winter coat. He grabbed my right ear while I was slumped over due to pain and stuck the otoscope in and didn’t even look. He then began to pull my mask down and said to open without even looking in. He dismissed what I had to say, showed lack of alarm reasoning I was ill, and seemed incompetent. This was a huge gimmick. He was in and out within 60 seconds. I will not return or refer anyone."

"I was seen quickly and the staff were all very kind and professional. They couldn't fix my problem and sent me to an ER but the ER confirmed the diagnosis and couldn't fix it either. A second ER finally had the specialist needed. I would definitely go here again."

"I have had mixed experiences here but decided to leave a positive review for Dr Madigan who was really great: professional, thorough, personable. CityMD should hire more staff to manage the inflow of patients during peak hours though. My entire appt took 2 hours due to various exams etc."

"We went on a Wednesday night at 8pm - did not have to wait long, thought all of the providers were kind and smart and thoughtful. So was the front desk staff. We generally do not necessarily expect much for Urgent Care experiences but really thought this place was great. We also appreciated that they were open until midnight!"

"Amazing staff and helpful. The doctor I saw was incredible. Took their time with a diagnosis, ran additional tests, suggested referrals for follow up with other specialists. The staff called the next day with follow up referrals and when test results came in they let me know right away. My primary care physician was pleased with the protocols and the medicine prescribed. I was very pleased, I felt I was in good hands, and when you are going through a medical crisis, that is important."
