"I spent the last 7 months working with Dr Jarkon, and my experience was just terrible. She is uncaring and was always quite rushed during her sessions. I had to always remind her of what we talked about the last time even when she referred to her notes. She didn't spend enough time to understanding my concerns and would not consider my experience. Her lack of attentiveness led to a feeling of frustration, as I didn't feel fully heard or understood over a period of months. I believe her attitude is such because she feels secure in her position as the only psychiatrist at NYIT's medical center. I would strongly recommend looking for another doctor and for NYIT to improve their mental health services."
