"If I could give it no stars I would have. This place is so incompetent and unprofessional. After scheduling my procedure months in advance and getting the authorization approval, I received a call on a Saturday for my Monday procedure telling me they didn’t have the authorization. I told them I had the authorization letter gave the approval number and also faxed it. On Monday morning I was on the phone for 2 1/2 hours with them trying to get some help and all I kept getting was transferred and hang ups. I even had my insurance company do a three way, which is recorded and documented , for another hour and got absolutely nowhere. So I decided to go to my scheduled appointment and basically got the same treatment from the girl at the desk. She took the approval letter texted to whoever and said she was waiting for them to get back to her. After about an hour, I asked her to call them and she didn’t. I asked to speak to an office manager and she said he left. It was 12 pm. She then told me that they told her that they called my insurance company and no one answered. I called my insurance minutes before and that morning and of course they answered. These people just don’t care so I left and will find another place that actually cares about their patients. I took off from work and wasted my entire morning for nothing. This is a terrible medical facility and I would never recommend them to anyone. They just don’t care."
"So disappointment with this practice in Bethpage, NY, nothing but problems from my 1st visit a year ago. Unprofessional customer service representatives. They schedule 4 or 5 people at the same time so you wait. They told me this was because so many people do not show up. People who manage appointments and administrative functions are so rude and have no idea what they are doing. I once got a call that I had appointment, so I show up and the practice was closed, was told it was my error, yet I got the text to prove it, but no one cared. Surgical nurses are rude, they don't even talk to you while you are on the table waiting for the doctor. I kept going because honestly I was too busy, it was close to my house and I did not have the energy to find another place after going for all the testing and getting insurance approvals. Now the last straw was the fact that after 10 months I was told I owed money and was texted an $$ invoice with a demand for payment. I am sure the invoice is incorrect as I have no confidence anything was coded correctly. It is sad that I now have to find a new location to complete what was started. BTW I am still waiting for someone to call me to discuss the invoice which was text to me today after having to cancel my appointment because I was told I would not be seen without paying the balance. Not even, an apology and maybe someone calling to make it right and reduce the invoice with a payment plan. Based on their incompetence and my inconvenience this would be professional way to go. I can go on and on but as I told all my friends and anyone who has asked me about the practice, I would not recommend it, do your homework and find somewhere else!"
