The Med Station

"I took my wife to this horrible place called Med station. Registration were giving us a hard time with my wife health insurance stating that she has another insurance as primary, when that insurance happens to be inactive for a period of long time. I told then to run her primary insurance which is Healthfirst, which by the way is ACTIVE! , and registration from med station end up saying they need the other insurance information or we have to pay the visit. Which in the mean time i was verifying with an agent with healthfirst, and the agent told me Healthfirst is the primary insurance. Is my mistake for not reading this place reviews. I deeply regret wasting my wife's and my time on going on this terrible place. As i write this. Im at glen cove ED hospital with my wife. She is getting a great quality treatment. I never write negative reviews like this. But this place needs to change the way they do things, especially people that works there."

"would gave 0 if I can, went there for immigration exam. told it cost $150 plus the required shots which was a reasonable price. I asked specific if that's all I need to pay, cuz there is no insurance covered and all paid out of pocket. they said yes that's all the cost, and during the exam, the doctor didn't mention additional charge about the blood work. However, after all gets done, received bill with amount of $322 from a lab. so angry about the hidden bill, won't recommend to anyone."

"This place is terrible!! Today, at 6pm - I walked into this so called “urgent care facility” with my son, who was just bit by a dog and was bleeding- the nurse said they are not taking anymore patients- and rejected us! All I can say is this place could possibly be the worst urgent care in the entire US. The worst humans to be in medical care and it’s a shame Google doesn’t allow for zero star reviews Too bad people seeking an urgent care will most likely not have the time to read reviews. But if you do…. Do yourself a favor and just go to the nearby Glen Cove Hospital."

"This place has the most wonderful staff! I was immediately warmly greeted by the entire front desk staff as I walked in, didn't wait more than a moment to be seen, and was treated with care and compassion throughout my visit. Whitney (NP who I saw) was amazing, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease about being in a medical office. After getting my covid booster, I even found myself talking and laughing with some of the staff before departing. Covid testing here was also a smooth and seamless process - just be sure to call ahead for an appointment. I highly recommend this Med Station to anyone on LI!"

"Made an appointment for my COVID shot and was signed in and taken back right away. Super clean and professional job. Staff was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. They made sure I did not have any adverse reactions and scheduled my next appointment with them right after. The staff is educated and polite. Overall extremely organized and I would recommend anyone who needs professional medial treatment to go."
