"The best of the best. Dr. Malhotra is brilliant and compassionate and extremely thorough. He is very research-oriented and will leave no stone unturned to get me the care I need. The providers he's recommended (like for neuro-psych evaluations, MRIs, etc.) have been excellent as well. My PT at HSS and Cornell Weill pain management doc were impressed by the comprehensiveness of the MRI he ordered and have both remarked on how spot on his analysis seems. His staff could't be more on top of things and they all extremely kind and humanistic when dealing with me (and I'm weirdly fragile right now because of the brain injury and pain). A couple of times, I got scared because of my deficits following my accident and asked if the doctor could call me to discuss new symptoms I was experiencing and the he not only found time at the end of the day, but was so thorough and reassuring and informative. This sounds crazy, but sometimes I cry at the end of my appointments with him. After something so traumatic happened to me resulting in considerable and sometimes terrible pain and what feels to me like radical memory loss and stupidity (sorry for the harsh phrasing here), having a doctor be so on the ball and so knowledgeable and so caring means the world and gives me the luxury of kind of just not overthinking and not feeling like I have to be the one who comes up with options because I'm in the best of hands. His recommendations have nearly all been so helpful in my recovery. I want to add that he's a specialist in head and neck, some only deal with one or the other. An amazing doctor ad human being.
