"The service at the UR Medicine orthopedic facility at bldg. D is great."

"After spending over 2 hours dialing the number over and over again, I finally got somebody on the phone. Nicholas answered the phone and really sounded lost. After about 20 minutes on the phone, We were told that this facility doesn't have equipment to recast an arm I immediately apologized and told them I was sorry for dialing the wrong facility. I thought this was the orthopedic urgent care. Nicholas told me this is the orthopedic urgent care but we do not have equipment to recast broken bones or dislocated joints. I'm really not sure what the point is for an orthopedic urgent care If you don't have the equipment to perform orthopedic processes. My guess is that they do have the equipment and Nicholas doesn't know what he's talking about and the doctor giving him the instructions just didn't want any more appointments for today so they lied. Either way... The hours spent this morning dealing with them has been a complete joke. Try and go somewhere else..."

"Wouldn’t listen or read my son’s chart that he has a joint condition and gave him stretches to do for his feet. I tried to tell her that yes when he sits his feet don’t hurt and that the bones weren’t the problem. She had X-rays done then dismissed everything we said because the bones looked fine. I again tried telling her that’s because the muscles are holding the bones together and they give out quickly (this why his calf is so tight). She again waved me off like I don’t have a clue. Sent us off for inserts. We are getting them because I’ll try anything to help him with the pain this causes. He is now starting to think he’s weak because she dismissed him like that."

"Went to a urgent care Sat night & told to see ortho at building D. Mon was holiday & was closed. They open at 8am so Tues called 8:02am to schedule an appointment; the answering svs was still taking calls at 9:15 & didn't turn the phone on till 9:45, then recording saying press 1 to make a appointment, Then on hold for 45min & got recording every minute saying to schedule appointments via My Chart app (got rid of it; prob loging on & Dr never replied to my Q's.) and to "press 2 to remain on hold". At 3 pm after 5th call attempt & just put on hold Or Disconnected! I gave up & thought 'try tomorrow'. Next day, same: put on hold, press 2 to remain on hold, got disconnected, etc. Both days I did leave my number for them to call me back~they never did. My Q: When are you going to hire more people to answer the phone? So People Will Not Be On Hold For More Than 5 Minutes. Or is that idea maybe/ maybe not going to happen only after the opening of the new office by Marketplace Mall?"

"They are the most efficient medical office I have ever been to. All three appointments were met with courtesy and respectable employees. Never had to wait more then five minutes in either waiting room or exam room. Clean facility as well. Just give yourself an extra 8 minutes hour first visit cause I parked in staff the first time. Realizing I was wrong, I got back to my car and then finding the front (which faces Clinton ave/faces west) was only by default."
