"Had an appointment at 4:30 PM during the blizzard. at 9;30 Am I called the number on the website that went to a central call location (why? Have it go to that stores location) and was told the appointment was still on. I called again on my way to the appointment because the roads were so awful and was told the location should be open. Got there and of course it was closed. Why couldn't you guys call me to tell me the store was closed and to reschedule? You had someone working at the call center and you chose to let your patients figure it out. Very unprofessional."
"I always get my eye exams here the doctor and other staff members are ok but the front desk receptionist has poor customer service she is very snarky and rude she said she had to call my insurance to see if I qualified for coverage, so I preceded to look at frames while she was on phone. She never told me what was said by my insurance company so when I asked she states with her hand on her mouth I yelled across the room when you were looking at frames that you were good to go. This was a false statement cause she didn’t and if she did, that would have been very unprofessional. A guy came in after me and when Gunther asked was anyone there for him she states that the guy who came in after me was technically before me cause I only wanted frames. She really made me not want to spend any money with them. Their selection of frames are very limited . She is the blonde at the front desk beware of her rudeness"
"I've been coming here for years, because that's where my husband's employer sent us, and they haven't been great, but they got the job done and the process was easy. He retired 2 years ago and we have been traveling, so I made an appt while we are in town, since they have all my records and I have some major eye issues. First issue is this new call center scheduling. To start, they don't clarify it is a call center that's answering your call. I called a specific location and when I talked to the girl I double checked twice that it was the location I was looking for. She apparently lied to me because I didn't know she could book multiple locations and she booked me at a different location without telling me, even though I checked before hanging up. I showed up at the appointment I thought I had to be told by the very pretentious and snarky receptionist that they had no doctor in today. With no help from her, I was able to get ahold of the location that had my appointment and the woman there was incredibly kind to me and empathetic to my situation. I tried to explain to the snarky receptionist that a severe back injury and a very long drive so this was not acceptable to me. Without a hint of an apology, she tried to schedule me for the next day and honestly I cancelled that appointment because my body can't handle another 2 hours of driving to show up for a second appointment that I can't even guarantee will happen at this point. A little empathy would have gone a long way but this young woman didn't have an ounce, all she had to give was condescension. I just don't trust this practice and I definitely don't appreciate the way I was treated. I'll never return. Downhill is the only way they seem to be headed."
"I had great experiences at my visits at Value Vision. The whole staff are so friendly and nice, and the eye doctor (I'm sorry, I don't remember his name) was very knowledgeable, thorough and took his time to explain, in great detail, everything that is going on with my eyes. I highly recommend them!"
