"I felt betrayed being charged a $100 cancellation fee after advising I had been frantically trying to resolve an FMLA issue that was preventing me from getting paid. If there was ever a time to throw me a bone, it would be while I am stressing out about money. What was frustrating was I was about 10 minutes late to the apt & explained what I was doing, and she asked if I was in a position to talk. I technically could have, but we would have been talking about nonsense because I didn’t have privacy. But because I didn’t want to waste her time, I told her let’s reschedule, and THEN she told me about the fee. In addition, I got billed for the next apt I canceled, which was clearly a system glitch seeing that I both got emails confirming my cancellation and confirming my apt. I noticed they say thank you a lot to the positive reviews but don’t address the complaints. I do take responsibility for my part, but I thought there was room for more compassion."

"I was pleased to be able to get an appointment as it is exceedingly difficult to find practices that are accepting new patients. Also, this was a practice that stated that they handled the type of therapy I was seeking: Trauma Informed therapy. I genuinely liked the very young therapist that I was placed with but the problem was that she clearly did NOT know much about trauma work. I spent much of the session simply explaining some really basic concepts. Note that I had spent a lot of time in therapy prior to this appointment. It was clear that she had not been out of school very long (and admitted to me how long she had been in practice when asked.). But, sadly I was in a really bad place and I simply did not believe that she had the experience for the work I needed to have done. I chose not to return."
