"To say the provider has poor bed side manner would require them to actually talk to you. I was never offered a sedative for a cystoscopy, was never told the results of CT scans or blood work, and showed up for what I thought would be reviewing the results of tests only to be greeted by more catheters I wasn't told about."

"Horrible and uncaring big monstrosity. At first your first consultation the doctors in this huge practice will tell you that " we must get at the bottom of these symptoms" and express some resemblance of friendliness. Then after you show up to many expensive tests they told you would get answers to and needed you are left high and dry. Dont even let you know results ( you will be scolded if you call a week after) until they are good and ready. The dr never called me. I had painful utis and bleeding. A cystoscopy was supposed to reveal why. Even while the test is being conducted the bedside manner from.said dr becomes cold and hurried. You are part of a factory assembly system and mustnt screw up his 2 minute visit! Dr is in and out. That's that! On to next room. And do not ask him any qurstions and tie him up because he needs to get on to that next room $$$ .Ka ching $$$$$You will be left feeling used and not receive any help or answers because all that is important is money here. Oh, also they bill you for things that you didn't have done. When you call to get answers and clarify why you have been incorrectly charged they hang up on you simply because they couldn't process the info of your name and date of birth quickly. Slow and dim witted. The billing department for the general number is quick tempered , loud and how dare you talk while she's shouting at you ! Also, billing does not seem to respect patients. Hmm. See a pattern going here? Lines, incorrect patient billing , cold and indifferent doctors who hurry from room to room for the big money procedures they themselves told you needed to have done asap. One particular gem named Sherry in Surgery Center isnt ready when she answers your call to take in information. Isnt this what her job is about? You have to go slower and repeat your personal info for her many times because i guess she may be falling asleep. Big money grabbing , dishonest, uncaring practice. Lines are crazy long with elderly people who should not be standing for 20-40 minutes in long lines just to check-in! People who have issues are ailing and cannot stand and wait that long! Unbelievably thoughtless practice. It is beyond obvious that the issues which brought all these people in are not being at all taken into consideration by making them stand ,wait, so long. You will be billed for bogus procedures that didnt happen if you choose to not go with recommended surgery. When entering examining room my dr decided already what particular procedures/surgeries they are going to recommend before they even examined me. That's not good ethics. Forget about the moral aspects medical ethics are thrown out the window. Money money. Also, they charge according to what floor you go to. As if they are many different places instead of just one huge expanded building. Hello? Use reasoning like this, oh thats the 2nd floor or the third floor, totally different. But, it was same day and same doctor that ordered these tests! $100.00 for each floor same day. $200.00 for this floor! And if you dont pay up then, no test. Please avoid if you need medical help because that's not what this practice is about. They also take months before giving you results of these expensive tests. You will never be treated as first priority. Money, money, money. Wise to go see a smaller, wiser practice. Keep your dignity and stay away from this place. Believe me, you will feel sicker for going here."

"Physicians are excellent. The scheduling for procedures department is terrible. Waited more than 45 min. Finally, told a scheduler I had another appointment. She told me would call me at home. She did, got my appointments set up. This is what should be done. Patients should not have to wait around.the scheduling dept needs to be changed."

"I had an appointment with Dr. R for the first time yesterday due to a swollen kidney that was DX on Wednesday at the Emergency room. I was told to make an appointment asap and that is what I did. My appointment was at 3 pm but I got there early and was seen pretty quickly. However, I did not see Dr. R but rather his resident and I was very quickly dismissed by this so called professional! I was told that the ER over read my imaging and that there is nothing wrong with my kidney even though I read my own results prior to going to my appointment and it plainly said hydronephrosis of left kidney without obstruction! Anyways I tried explaining to the Doctor/resident that I have been having right sided flank pain with blood in my urine on and off since March and he did not want to hear it, he cut me off and basically said there is nothing wrong. He than went and spoke to the Doctor which I could hear their conversation through the exam room door because they were conversing in the hallway and I heard Dr. R say "tell her we can do a cystoscopy to confirm there is nothing wrong as we suspect" so the resident Doctor comes back in the room and said we'll we can perform a procedure to affirm that there is nothing wrong with your kidney and we can do it under general anthesia, he left the room for a minute comes back and says as a matter of fact we will do it without anesthesia. I agreed but I am going to cancel and get a second opinion! I left this place feeling even more frustrated and dismissed! This place and the doctors are horrible!!! I only went here because I was referred and because my primary and gyn said I should see a urologist with my history of kidney stones but instead of getting any answers and pain relief I got ran around and wasted my time and .25 day of sick time from work!!!"

"I have several medical offices that I deal with on a regular basis. When I first entered WNY Urology and saw the number of people waiting, I almost freaked out. Not to worry as they are so attentive and professional. Wait time is minimum. You are seen, tested, get your results, and confer with your doctor. I am so pleased with the professionalism with each and every staff member I have had contact with!"
