"What an amazing experience. I was greeted with a friendly smile, the patient rep was very friendly despite these reviews. Nurse Damien was very pleasant and attentive to my complaints. The Provider Wendy is very knowledgeable, took her time, listened to my concerns and made me feel at ease. I am so happy I decided to come to this facility. One word of advise is that everyone has opinions. Satisfied patients will leave a great review, dissatisfied patients will leave a negative one. As god is my witness this place today was pleasurable experience."
"The providers are always attentive and kind. The LPNs and front desk staff, however, are consistently unpleasant and unprofessional. For example, one LPN swabbed my sons nose, threw the swab in the trash, pulled it out of the trash, then sent it off for testing with an "oops my bad". Another example, the blonde at the front desk felt the need to inform me that I was not experiencing chest pain, as that would be a cardiac issue, and further let me know that what I was experiencing was "congestion". If the front desk staff is going to diagnose, the facility should let them treat as well. Would save loads of time. It's a shame WellNow in Massena is closed, I feel pigeonholed into dealing with incompetence in Potsdam."
"The last 3 times I’ve had to go here have been horrible experiences- the care provided is good from the doctor/PA’s that treated me- however the rest of the staff/nurses? Unbelievably rude, dismissive and apparently think patients are deaf and can’t hear the nasty remarks from staff. I’d leave them a bad review on the survey provided, but I don’t want it to reflect poorly on the actual provider. When people go to Urgent Care it’s because they NEED care, not nasty remarks, not to be told to go somewhere else, and not to be made to feel bad about their situation. Do better."
"This was grade A urgent care. I had to go because I crushed my big toe and figured I better make sure it's not broken. I waited around 15 minutes, granted it wasn't so busy and there was only one other patient in the waiting room, but that's really good for a walk in clinic regardless. They took cautious, sophisticated care of me and my injury. The people attending me were kind, knowledgeable and most notably professional. X-rays were taken. They sent me home with a couple papers describing my current health state and details regarding the injury I sustained. Wonderful, thorough medical attention. Thank you!"
"I have been here numerous times between visits for myself and my toddler. No matter when you arrive (right at opening, or any other time), you WILL wait. Even arriving right at 8 a.m, you will likely wait upwards of 30 minutes. On my most recent visit, I arrived around 6:45 p.m, so I wasn’t surprised I had to wait. I got called into the office around 7:20 p.m. I was being seen for an ankle injury, to which I could bear ZERO weight on my foot. I hobbled into the room. My husband could only help me to the door as he and my kid in the car couldn’t come in with me (bc of covid protocols). When they brought me for a foot X-ray, I had to hobble/hop probably 50 yards to and from the X-ray room. Not once was I offered a wheel chair. I probably could have asked, but it was quite clear I could not walk. Nearing their closing time of 8 p.m, they gave me crutches and an air cast and told me I was free to leave. I struggled to carry my phone, wallet, and air cast while using crutches. No one even offered to help as I struggled to carry all these things out the door. In fact, as soon as I passed through the door several employees walked right by me. I was happy with the practitioner but just overall very frustrated with any lack of care or compassion received by the staff."
