"After my husband had an appointment his eye hurt really bad from the exam. He called the office and they had him come back and charged our insurance plus we had to pay another copay of $50, just to tell him he had an allergy to the solution used during the exam. We should not have been charged again for something that was caused by their office. When he asked why he was being charged again the secretary completely ignored him."

"Again, like another previous review; missed appt, no reminder phone calls, no texts and rude. Why would one go back and oh yes they charge $25.00 for missed appt - good luck with that one; especially those on Medicare"

"DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am 70 yr old senior suffering from cancer - I was losing sight in one eye - my PCP referred me to one of the docs in the practice. They made appt with a different one which I called and said I would wait for dr my pcp recommended. Before the appt local hospital to me to go see my cancer center ASAP - I had to go immediately - call dr office to advise them I could not see eye doc and explained why. The girl on phone was SO RUDE and NASTY. Sent me to collection for a $25 cancellation fee!!!!!!!!!!! I never went there, never agreed to any fees...stay away from these horrible people"

"I was a patient for 30+ years until Dr. Paulus retired. A VERY rude receptionist named Amanda claimed she had scheduled a new appointment for me with a new Dr. that I reportedly missed. I called to note I had no such appointment, but she argued with me and said my voice mail was full when she called. A total lie. I wrote the Dr., but no response. I keep getting a bill for an appt. I never had. Moving to University Eye."

"Thankful for the very nice lady at the front desk that checked us in. The tech that we saw was condescending to my 15 yo daughter. The Dr. was very rude to my daughter and I. When I asked a very simple question, the Dr. raised his voice at me. After I asked him to stop, he continued to raise his voice and yell at me. Why you would put a brand new, young patient with a Dr. like this is beyond me. We will not be returning."
