"On the outside and in the daylight everything seems so cheery and nice . But truthfully this isnt a good place . One look at their retention rate and one has to wonder how toxic of a work environment this place is that you run people away from working with children . Plus I heard they dislike CNAS here and how bad they treat their employee its a no wonder people always say dont work here."
"I had applied for the RN position. I did not start working at Elizabeth Seton, but I had to pay for the background check out of pocket which I was supposed to be reimbursed. I had the background check in January 2023 and I paid nearly $200. Once I passed my exam months later, I had asked the recruiter thatbI would like to be reimbursed. Then the recruiter mentioned that the company had changed some rules and the company only pays for the background check and no longer accept applicants to pre pay for it. She then said that she with check with HR, but I have never heard from her. I was infuriated! I lost my money for such a place that I never worked! I was told by another RN who previously worked there and she had a horrible experience working at Elizabeth Seton. She strongly suggested not for me to work there. Now, I am at a better place with a very good job.. I would not suggest anyone to work here!"
"On December 14, 2023, Santa Claus, with the help of his friends from Santa Express aka White Plains Professional Fire Fighters - IAFF Local 274, made a special visit to Elizabeth Seton Children's School and Elizabeth Seton Children's Rehabilitation Center in White Plains to spend the morning with all our children who, of course, are all on the "nice" list! Mr. Claus and his jolly cast of characters distributed sweet stuffed animals to our good boys and girls - continuing a beloved annual tradition that we look forward to every year! "I applied for a cna position and I was told I'm not a fit because I have 1 job already. And they need me to be fully committed to them. I have been working in the health care industry for 15 years and the recruiter going to tell me I'm not a fit. Because snow storms and priority. I don't know what she was talking about. Most health care workers work 2 jobs. Living in New York we need 2 jobs. So don't apply there if you have a job already."
"It is a specialized facility for children. It is open 24 hours, free parking for customers. This facility is very clean. They really care about their patients . There is doctors on the site even though it is a long term facility. Nurses are very friendly. In their vent unit, Respiratory Therapists are very knowledgeable and talented. They provide life support for 24 hours for those who are on the ventilators. All though it is a long term care facility, it looks like a hospital ."
