"My 8 year old son was super excited to try Hibachi for the first time so we made a reservation at DD since I had heard it was good. We arrived right on time and the restaurant was packed. We were told there were no spots at a Hibachi table available for another hour. Moreover we would need to wait even another 30mins for a normal table to become available. When I asked the server how this is possible if I made a reservation I was bluntly told that the restaurant overbooked. No apology, no sensitivity to the fact my son was visibly upset. We decided not to wait because the restaurant is small and there isn't any space for people to wait inside."
"Really great food and service. Amazing drinks as well. Definitely worth visiting for my day in NYC!"
"Visited this place on 9/27/23. Food was delicious. The menu has so many options. We ordered steak & chicken hibachi & the sesame chicken, also ordered some drinks they were very good. The staff is very attentive and sweet. I will definitely be returning"
"A very fun place to eat especially if you have kids with you. If you want to eat hibachi it might take a little bit before you get served (at least in my case) because I think there was only 1 chef on the day we visited. I came on a Saturday afternoon before a Broadway show. Food was typical for most Hibachi places I’ve been to. The sauces for the meat were yummy. It was a good place to eat before going to a show."
"Our chef was amazing last night - making jokes while cooking delicious food. The rice was to die for and the atmosphere was very upbeat and fun. Definitely going again if I go back to New York!"
