"This school district is terrible. The administrators are overpaid and very politically biased, many teachers are just their because of tenure, and the community is infested with drugs. If you're looking for a house in Massapequa make sure it's in Plainedge, Farmingdale, or Amityville school district, or be prepared to pay for private school. Whatever you do, don't send your kids to Massapequa Public Schools."

"I am a sixth grader in Berner. My first year at Berner is amazing because we changed from staying in one classroom to moving across the entire building. The sixth graders are on the 3rd floor which is amazing because the 1st floor is really crowded in between periods from all the students trying to get from math or English down to band or lunch.What I don’t like is how long much traffic there is to get on line for parents to drop their kid off at school in the morning. I think there should be a stop sign."
