"They just want to have their seats filled. THE MOST TERRIBLE SCHOOL IN QUEENS , please learn from our mistakes as this is a huge problem for me and my only son. They basically lie to get you to fill the seat and then they break all promises. No one ever picks up the phone. No one seems to care about anything but numbers. I will be pulling him out ASAP because I cannot stand the lying and the lack of respect I have been shown and the fact that no one can even return a phone call is insane. I have to say that before you go to the open house and meet with the schools administrators make sure you record everything that comes out of their mouth or else you might end up making the biggest mistake of your life. I have a child with a learning disability which was why I was so happy to be accepted into the school. Before I accepted I went to the open house and spoke with the schools principle and told him about that concern of our son with ADHD and social anxiety, and Principle Smith told us that Eagle Academy is the best school for someone in his situation and they would be here to help in any way they could. Once we accepted his seat to Eagle Academy everything changed. Suddenly my child became another seat that was filled by the school. I was told that no one ever told me busing would be provided; which would have helped with the anxiety issue and the ADHD so he doesn't get lost or distracted walking alone to the city bus. We are working class parents who work from 7-6; meaning we need to be on our way to work by 6 and we had to call in late this whole week; but my husband was told that this could no longer happen or he would be given two weeks notice. The school keeps passing the buck to another department and we are beyond upset. They pretend they care but they don't...."

"This school is absolute torture. Please do not send your child here unless you want them to be bullied and their academic scores to drop heavily. After transferring from eagle academy, my academic scores went from 65s and 70s to being able to qualify for honor rolls (90+)"
