"I have been taking classes (online and/or in person) from Ms. Tao for 7 months. It is one of the best decisions that I ever made in 2022. As an adult student working full time with little music training, I am very happy with my progress so far in terms of both violin skills and musicality. Practicing violin routinely helps me restore energy and find a peaceful mind. The high quality of violin classes from Ms. Tao is one of the reasons that I enjoy and persist in practicing. She is very professional, skilled, patient, detail-oriented and passionate about classical music and music education. She is very efficient during a 45 minute class. I feel her classes are worth every penny. I would know exactly where and how to improve at different stages. And I am truly inspired by how she appreciates the beauty of music. If you are looking for an amazing violin teacher, I would highly recommend her!"
"In my work in the little mozart school of violin, I have found instructor, Ran, to be an excellent teacher, as well as completely knowledgeable and skilled in all violin techniques. She is patient with students and reliable as to scheduling lessons. After a year of study here, I look forward to continuing my preparations for further violin skills tests."
"My daughter has been at the Little Mozart school of Violin since she was 5 years old and is now almost 10. I don’t have enough words to express how lucky we are to have found such a great teacher in Ms Ran Tao. To learn a musical instrument as difficult as the violin you need to have either a love for the instrument or a really great teacher that makes you fall in love with it. That is what happened for my daughter . MsTao is not only an excellent teacher, a great violinist herself, but her attention to detail, and her emotional intelligence involved in teaching kids of all levels and bringing them up to mark is what distinguishes her from the rest. My daughter for one wants to make sure she plays perfectly each week so Ms Ran is proud of her and that speaks volumes about her as a teacher. She adjusts her teaching skills to each student's aptitude. Until they do not perfect the part and she is 100% satisfied she works with them. She knows when to push and when to hold back based on each student’s aptitude. My daughter has learnt performance skills under Ms Tao’s guidance, overcome stage fright due to semi annual performances at the school and much more. I could go on and on. I have recommended Ms Ran to friends and Infact one of them has a daughter enrolled at school As well and only has good things to say about their experience at the school. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better educator to hone my daughter’s violin skills and I hope to keep her under Ms Tao’s guidance for years to come."
"My daughter and I have been taking violin lessons with Ms. Ran for over a year now. My daughter started first and immediately developed a liking for the instrument - all thanks to Ms. Ran and her teaching methods. I am generally around during my daughter’s violin lessons, and I was so impressed that I decided to start taking lessons as well - I have always wanted to learn to play the violin, but never thought I could do it. Not only is Ms. Ran a wonderful violin player herself, she is also a gifted teacher, which is no mean feat. This is proven by the fact that even when the violin lessons shifted to a virtual format due to the pandemic, and everyone had to adapt to this new medium of instruction almost overnight, the quality of Ms. Ran's lessons never dipped. She is always very encouraging, warm and has immense patience. She never loses her composure no matter how times my daughter (or I) make the same mistakes. Instead of using a standard template, she actually adjusts her teaching methods to suit every student. Both of us - my daughter and I look forward to our lessons every week. If you like the violin and want to learn, I would highly recommend starting your musical journey with Ms. Ran."
