"My son attends this school. He was in the 1st grade this year. This school is great. They are always putting together different things to keep the student engaged and motivated. They have math carnival, art contest, science fairs, school dances, ect.. The list goes on. They recognize students for a job well done and that is important. These are critical years for our children. To keep them engaged is not easy. I have no complaints. The staff all work together and when my son won the Art contest representing his school, the Principal herself called me and the Art teacher attended all the outside school events. Its so hard to find a decent public school in the Bronx. I would absolutely recommend the school. Its has a family feel and I cannot complain. My son will be attending next year as well."

"My son started going to this school since Kindergarden and now he is a fifth grader. I only can tell you that everyone that works at PS36X are the most hard working dedicated staff and that includes his teachers they were and are amazing teachers very hard working and dedicated to their students! I can tell you that everyone that had worked with my child had always want him to succeed! His therapists were incredible with him and they still do. From the principals to the janitors they are just the greatest people that you want your children to be around. To my family this past 6 years has been the best experiences that I ever had and as a parent I am very greateful to be part of a great family that is PS36X!"

The teachers and staff always maintained active support system and open communication with parents which helped foster great relationships that are still in tack now that I have 2 younger children attending here as well."

"Excellent school! My child attended PS36x, The Rising Stars school from Prek to 5th grade. The administration, teachers & general staff are professional, welcoming people. Their priority is your child's academic success & safety. Parent engagement is also welcomed. During my child's academic life at this school I volunteered at the Parents Association for a couple of yrs before I became a member of the Executive Board. I held several titles during my years of service until my child graduated on 6/2015. I was also a member of the School Leadership Team (SLT) and a Title 1 PAC Chairperson.
