"I guess each experience is different but we are very pleased with every aspect of our visit. From offers of help and direction, the minute we walked through the door, to getting us in for our appointment ahead of our scheduled time. The staff even expedited other procedures for the very same day. We have only positive expressions. Well worth the 2 1/2 hour trip. Thank you to the Strong Memorial team!! Great Job!!!"
"Terrible. If I had the option of zero stars I’d give it that. Every single time I’ve been in the ER at this hospital I have to prepare to be there for 9 hours or more. The last time I went there I had a herniated disk and was in terrible pain. The nurses were rude when I asked if there was an eta on seeing the doctor which I asked after 5 hours of sitting in a chair in excruciating pain. No water, no apologies offered, I wasn’t even assigned a doctor after coming in at 11pm and sitting till 6 in the morning. The doctor was incredibly rude to a patient in front of me who had been throwing up for hours and not been seen yelling at him that “they’re working as fast as they can” when they could be heard chatting it up with their colleagues in the front. Why won’t you guys hire if you’re so short staffed? Terribly unprofessional, terrible patient care, horrible staff, I wouldn’t come back here if I was dying."
"There obviously aren't any protocols for keeping cancer patients any more protected than the general public, from germs. No mask requirement to coughing patients. Also, they don't seem to care about p people in the waiting room vaping marijuana. . The doctor was great when we did see him. Based on experience, the ER doctors have been excellent. We would have given five stars If those aforementioned problems were corrected."
"Receive my kidney transplant at Strong on November 3rd. Best care ever! This is my second transplant. Compared to the first hospital that I had transplanted at. Strong transplant team puts the patient first. I had great nurses, Technicians, Doctors, Specialist on the transplant Floor. They always took my concerns seriously and with compassion. I am forever grateful for this transplant and a new quality of life. the transplant clinic is amazing. Thank you for everything. Bill"
"I was a loyal customer of this hospital, but I am unhappy with the recent service and care. I want to share my feedback and suggestions for improvement. The receptionists and nurses at the front desk were excellent and helpful. They checked my blood sugar and gave me juice. They also provided blankets and answered my questions. I thank them for their kindness and professionalism. However, the doctors and nurses in the emergency room were very different. I was left alone for a long time in pain. I asked if I could take my medication, but the doctor yelled at me and ignored me. She did not care about my condition. She was rude and unprofessional. The night shift was better. The doctor did blood work and admitted me as an inpatient. But I was shocked by the lack of cleanliness and safety in the hospital. Most of the staff wore their masks incorrectly. People with COVID-19 were on the same floor as me. A curtain does not protect from the virus. I stayed there for a week and got COVID-19 myself, which could have been avoided. I hope the management will take my feedback seriously and make changes. The hospital needs to train its staff to be respectful and attentive to patients. The hospital also needs to ensure the hygiene and maintenance of its facilities and equipment. The hospital needs to follow proper protocols and precautions to prevent infections. The hospital has potential, but it needs to improve its quality of service and care. Thank you for your time and attention."
