Reviews
"The facility was nice clean and bright. The staff was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this location, a huge upgrade from when it was Doshi. The only complaint I would have is that Lenox Hill radiology main appointment line needs to be better staffed since making an appointment can be a long and arduous task."
"Place is ok, clean, but visiting there for your appointment time is horrible. I am 2.5 hrs here past my appointment time for xray, on Sunday. And still waiting, with no clear explanations as to how long more to wait. Saturday 9 am the place was already overbooked for walk ins. In general, only couple places in New York do x rays on weekends, that’s terrible! I dont know how this place got 4.6 stars, maybe because of rather clean area and because some receptionists remain nice.. but from reading few other reviews with people having similar experience and seeing the same auto reply from the owner.. says to me that nothing will be changed.."
"My visit at Lenox Hill Radiology was pleasant and professional, as it always is. The wonderful people who take care of us know what they are doing, and some show a wonderful sense of humor. This is one facility that I really enjoy visiting. As far as my rating is, they deserve the Number One spot! Thank you."
"Today I brought my son in for a chest x-ray. He is 39 and is autistic and a phenomenal patient. I was told that there would be almost a 2 hour wait. My son is very good at waiting and has a lot of patience. The young man at the desk was so lovely and we were called up to the front desk very quickly. And then he was called for his x-ray shortly after. The x-ray tech was a lovely woman. My son was so good. I showed him how to take a deep breathe and hold it when he was asked. The tech was able to take the x-ray and I received the results this morning. Results normal. Thanks to everyone who helped us today. It made a positive experience out of something that could have been very difficult."
"Place is convenient for us. Street parking only, but there are always spots available. Place is clean, staff is nice enough, but we have had a couple of annoying (aren’t they all?) problems. Last year my wife was received a bill for several thousand dollars for a procedure performed at Lenox Hill, even though she has Medicare. After many phone calls over six months, the problem-they billed the wrong Medicare number-was finally rectified. Recently our doctor submitted a referral for a an X-ray, again for my wife. She got a text from Lenox Hill that X-rays did not require an appointment; she could simply walk in. Which she did the next day at 1PM. And was told the wait would be up to an hour (it was actually an hour and a half). Twenty minutes later they posted a sign: “No more X-rays today.’ If the wait is an hour and a half, and if she arrives 30 minutes later she would have been turned away, why DON’T they take appointments for X-rays? It makes things more inconvenient, not less. Makes no sense. To me."
